Now with a brand new sauna, it’s the perfect hideaway for couples, creatives, and anyone craving a quiet reset. Wander among the apple trees, and soak up the stillness, just seconds from the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains.
The space
Step into The Machinery Shed at Logan Brae Orchard, a private retreat where rustic charm meets modern luxury. The open-plan living area is light, spacious, and inviting, with a ceiling of fairy lights creating a magical atmosphere. Relax in the luxurious bathroom, enjoy a full kitchen, and sleep soundly in the king-size bed.
Outside, a firepit awaits under the stars, and inside, the wood fire is ready to keep you cozy. Explore the property at your leisure — help yourself to the kitchen garden and fresh eggs from the free-roaming chickens, wander among 6,000 apple trees, and witness the orchard in its full glory: rows of blossoms in spring and bountiful apples in autumn. Don’t miss the tree-top bath, a truly unforgettable experience. This is your private sanctuary in a working boutique orchard, perfect for relaxing, exploring, and immersing yourself in nature.
Guest access
You’ll have complete privacy and full access to the Machinery Shed and all its features: the open-plan living area, full kitchen, luxurious bathroom, and king-size bedroom. Outside, explore the orchard, wander the rows of apple trees, relax by the firepit, and enjoy the kitchen garden. Help yourself to fresh eggs from the free-roaming chickens and don’t miss the tree-top bath — it’s all yours to enjoy.

Please note: We do not host weddings or events of any size at our property.
Out of respect for our home and privacy, we kindly ask that guests do not make requests for weddings or gatherings, as these cannot be accommodated under any circumstances.
Adults only: The Machinery Shed is an adult-only retreat — perfect for couples, solo travelers, or creatives seeking peace and privacy.
No additional guests: For safety and privacy, only guests on the booking are permitted. Visitors are not allowed onsite.
Working orchard setting:
The Machinery Shed sits within a boutique working orchard. At times, you may see staff or tractors during the day.
Meet Lottie:
Lottie is our resident Maremma livestock guardian dog and lives full-time on the property. As a working farm dog, she roams freely throughout the orchard and around the accommodation.
If you stay at The Machinery Shed, you will almost certainly see and hear Lottie during your visit. Maremmas are naturally protective dogs and can be vocal, particularly when alerting to wildlife or visitors.
For the welfare of our animals, Lottie cannot be confined, locked away or removed from the property during guest stays.
If you are uncomfortable around large dogs, or would prefer accommodation without farm animals, Logan Brae may not be the right fit for your stay.
During apple season, our orchard shop is open to the public on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm, typically from late February through to June. During these hours, customers can access the lookout, located approximately 20 metres from the front of the Machinery Shed.
Guests’ privacy remains a priority. The public area is limited to the lookout only, and does not extend to the accommodation. Curtains are also provided at the entry for added privacy.
Wi-Fi & tech: Whether working remotely or streaming your favorite shows, Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
Parking: Private parking is available on-site.
