This is a very special part of the world. Perched atop a ridge overlooking the Hunter Valley and looking towards the Barrington Tops. The view is what defines this house nestled high on the edge of a rocky outcrop, the Wedge-tail Eagles soaring effortlessly in front of you is what gave this escape its name. The location provides the quintessential Australian experience, kangaroos, kookaburras and goanna's roam freely. When its cool, light the fire and have a spa, when its hot swim in the pool.

I love travelling, cooking and I love talking to people, and making a place that feels like a nest for people to retreat to, away from the daily pressures. These two properties could not be more different and by choice they are. Our homes provide a contrast between the Australian bush where you can be up close and personal with the native wildlife and also the beach where the sand is white and the ocean is your background music. It provides the ideal contrast and from there you can experience local food, something I value and a place to share with loved ones.
