Newly remodeled 1920s bungalow with a perfect blend of antique, artsy, modern finishes. Our house is located on Main Street in the East Main Street National Historic District. Bedrooms all have attached bathrooms. The property has tons of living space both inside and outside. There is a poolhouse located in the backyard with a separate bedroom and bathroom. Sister property of rustic blue located on Center St. in New Iberia.

The space
Our house is located on Main Street in Downtown New Iberia - a nice walk to Shadows-on-the-Teche or Bouligny Plaza. Our 2100 sqft home has a ton of living space: 2 downstairs master bedrooms (with attached bathrooms), an upstairs loft space with 2 beds and 3.5 baths. Common areas include a parlor and a open living room and kitchen area. The property also includes a poolhouse with a queen bed and bathroom. The place is perfect for hosting groups while in town visiting family or checking out local attractions.

East Main Street Historic District is a historic district in downtown New Iberia, Louisiana, United States, located along East Main Street from Weeks Street to Philip Street.

The 30-acre area comprises a total of 71 buildings, of which 57 are considered contributing properties, and 4 are also listed on the National Register of Historic Places as individual properties or contributing properties of Downtown New Iberia Commercial Historic District, one of them (Shadows-on-the-Teche) is also a National Historic Landmark. Building dates vary from 1834 to 1933 and represent the most relevant structures of New Iberia's main residential rue in historic period.

The historic district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 28, 1983
