Byron Beech Pad is a bright and luxurious large private studio with panoramic views from the spacious balcony, complete with outdoor hot and cold shower, dining table, hanging chair and Weber BBQ. Close to local shops, cafes and 900m to Tallow beach, Byron Beech Pad comfortably sleeps up to 3 adults, or two adults and two children plus a toddler in our complimentary port-a-cot.
The space
Set up high to capture the northerly breezes, Byron Beech Pad is the ideal space to relax and unwind. After a day at the beach, rinse off under the palm tree as you enter your spacious private deck, and then relax in the comfy hanging chair with a glass of complimentary French Bubbly, while enjoying the view with some local goodies. Our place is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and families.
Modern with a luxurious interior and large private wrap around balcony, Byron Beech Pad is only a short stroll to the local Suffolk Park shops and restaurants, and 800m to the beautiful, unspoilt Tallow Beach. Perfectly positioned in a quiet neighbourhood out of the hustle and bustle, we are only 5km or an 8 minute drive to the centre of Byron Bay and all it has to offer.
Plan your adventures throughout the spectacular Byron Hinterland and beautiful Northern Rivers region, with easy access to Lennox Head, Ballina, and the motorway north to Brunswick Heads and beyond.
Byron Beech Pad is located on the entire lower floor of our family home, which is in a desirable elevated position above street level at the top of a steep curving driveway, capturing the ocean breezes and offering a lovely outlook over the trees to the spectacular escarpment in the near distance.
The space is fully insulated and private, with a smart bright kitchenette, modern luxurious bathroom, comfy large King size bed and a range of streaming services (as listed below) on the flat screen TV.
The interior is light and bright, with doors and windows maximising the sea breeze and relaxing views. The kitchenette is complete with all the modern appliances that you would expect; including microwave, double electric hotplate, washing machine, fridge, and all cookware, crockery, cutlery, complimentary tea/coffee and condiments. The bathroom includes a spacious walk in shower with a powerful Aurajet shower-head for an invigorating powerful shower, along with hair dryer, complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash. All towels, including beach towels are provided.
The studio is cooled and heated courtesy of a Dyson AM09, and reversible modern state of the art ceiling fan. The large King size bed can also be transformed into 2 king singles for separate sleepers, while the leather sofa pulls out easily to become a large double bed for extra guests.
All beds come complete with crisp white linen and a choice of pillows to aid a restful night’s sleep. We know how important pillows are, so therefore we offer a selection of soft, medium or firm pillows to ensure you are completely comfortable.
Reading lights - which include a wireless charger for your devices in their timber base - are positioned either side of the King Bed for those who want to read with adequate light (something we know from experience is very important when travelling!)
Relax inside on either the comfortable leather lounge or your large King size bed as you watch your favourite show via the complimentary guest profile on a range of streaming services including Apple TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Binge, Stan, Disney+, Paramount+, Kayo Sports, Optus Sport, all free-to-air network streaming, Apple Music and iHeart Music.
The flat-screen TV is mounted on a pull out/rotating bracket, making it easy to watch from any position in the room.
Guest access
When you stay at Byron Beech Pad, you'll have access to the entire private studio space, including your own private entrance and a large wrap-around balcony. The studio is completely self contained, private and fully insulated.
Although we live upstairs, we have minimal interaction with guests apart from meeting you on arrival when we are able. Your privacy, peace and comfort is of utmost importance to us, however, we are always on hand should you need help with any issues, and are more than happy to offer suggestions, directions and assistance whenever needed.
Check-in from 3pm onwards, and check-out at 10am. We are happy to accommodate earlier check-ins and check-outs depending on other bookings and our cleaner's schedule. We are also happy for guests to drop off bags, which we can securely hold until the studio is ready.
Other things to note
Our prices are based on an occupancy of two adults including a family of up to three children based on age. Any extra adult guests (maximum 4 adults) will be charged at $80 AUD per person, per night. Please ensure the correct number of guests are listed prior to booking.
Please note that you will be staying within our family home, and therefore we request no loud music or party groups. Please also note that we cannot accommodate pets, and that smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.
Please also note that there is no parking at the top of our driveway, although we are happy for guests to unload/load car if needed, or to drop off any guests with mobility issues - there is ample parking on the wide neighbourhood street out in front of the studio.
