Perched on the esplanade at Sellicks Beach, Väike (Estonian for little) is a modern luxurious tiny house with stunning ocean views. Enjoy full privacy, easy beach access, a deluxe outdoor bath under a heated pergola, hot outdoor shower to rinse off the beach sand, AC, huge deck with outdoor seating, BBQ, and stylish interior with skylights in each of the two loft bedrooms. Option to book separately or together with our neighboring Kodu (Estonian for home) listing for extra space.
The space
Welcome to Väike, a beautifully crafted tiny house retreat nestled on the esplanade at Sellicks Beach—“Väike” meaning “little” in Estonian, affectionately paired with our other home, Kodu, meaning “home”.
Both dwellings are completely private and are available individually or together for a shared getaway.
Location & Surrounds
Situated right where the staircase meets the beach, Väike offers an elevated vantage point with breathtaking cliff-top views. The rear windows offer a serene vista of Sellicks’ rugged rolling hills. Sellicks Beach is a calm coastal gem, around 45 km south of Adelaide, beloved for its long sandy shore, swimming, surfing opportunities, and peaceful vibe.
Just steps away, discover Ithaca at Sellicks (5 min walk), a charming beachfront Greek taverna serving fresh Mediterranean fare and local wines—a perfect spot for a romantic dinner or relaxed lunch.
For a sip of exquisite local wine in an unforgettable setting, visit Berg Herring Wines (5 min drive), housed in a converted 1862 sandstone chapel, offering tastings with lush ocean- and hill-side views.
For hearty pub fare and regional wines (7 min drive), The Victory Hotel at Sellicks Hill overlooks Sellicks Beach and delivers a warm, historic dining experience.
Aldinga (10 min drive), a relaxed coastal town with a vibrant main street, home to cafés, boutique shops, a brewery, and wellness studios—perfect for a casual day out.
McLaren Vale (20 min drive), one of South Australia’s premier wine regions, with more than 70 wineries, gourmet dining, and rolling vineyard landscapes to explore.

Guest access
Guests enter via the long driveway to the left of the red-brick house, which also provides parking for your stay. The tiny home is accessed through the front sliding door beneath the pergola. A secure lockbox is located here, and you’ll receive a unique code generated for your booking prior to arrival.
The whole space is fenced off from the red-brick house to ensure your privacy. At present, access is limited to the front of the tiny home and deck area—the garden at the back of the house is off limits.
Other things to note
Väike shares the property with our larger home, Kodu. Both homes are fully private from one another, but if you’re travelling with family or friends, you may like to book them together for extra space while still enjoying privacy.
