Kitesurfing and outdoor living shape this laid-back coastal suburb, where a tropical beach, marina, and cafes meet sea breezes.

From the host

Golf Course, Boating club with bar and restaurant, shops and beach all within walking distance. 20 minute drive to Cairns CBD. Tour companies will pick up from us or very close by (large buses cannot make it up the hill). Yorkeys Knob is Cairns most popular beach for water sports. We have kitesurfing, wing foiling, kayaking and others all at Yorkeys Knob beach, which can also be seen from A Villa Gail. Contact Pacific Watersports for bookings.
