Settle into our cosy Tiny House, cleverly converted from two character filled heritage holding bays from Phillip Island police stations. With the emphasis now on comfort rather than confinement, you will enjoy all the conveniences of home, on a smaller scale... the simple life.
Complete your day of adventure with a glorious outdoor shower, stories around the fire-pit, and a glass of something delicious next to the top of the range Nectar indoor woodburner...
The space
Sannyside Tiny House is a studio style cabin. A clever split level space with a queen bed and beautiful ensuite to the southern end, and north facing lounge dining kitchen to soak up the sun. Fully fenced for privacy and pets, on approx 200sqm…(the whole property is 2.5 acres and has another rental cabin (Sannyside Coastal Retreat) plus the main house, positioned away from the Tiny House.
Guest access
It’s a shared driveway with the other rental cabin so just use the Tiny House allocated parking off to the left. Tiny house guests have a fully fenced area and extensive decking featuring the outdoor shower! Pets welcome, please not on furniture ❤️. There is a dam on the property ( fenced separately) and sheep, dogs, chickens, so important to keep pets on leash please ❤️
A starter basket of wood is provided for the indoor woodburner, if you require more please make contact to arrange payment 🔥
Other things to note
Being a tiny home, we couldn’t make the space wheelchair friendly but happy to provide measurements etc if needed. It’s very spacious for a tiny house, plenty of breathing space to enjoy a relaxing stay! The space was built out of two old heritage cells, we have left some rustic features and imperfections on the old parts, which creates a nice contrast to the more contempory additions.. glass, steel, ply, aged brass tapware, copper outdoor shower, we had a lot of fun on this little project.
The kitchen is basic, a two burner cooktop (no oven)…microwave, airfryer, plus the bbq outside…
It’s a two person cabin but please make contact if you wish to bring an infant..

Sannyside is our gorgeous cottage in stunning San Remo, Victoria.. across the bridge from the famous Phillip Island. Surrounded by beaches, our property is 2.5 acres of rural land boasting native Australian flora and fauna. A ten minute walk into the village, shops, pubs, restaurants etc.
