I believe our guests say it best. Here is Austin's review. "The house is amazing. The views are spectacular. You really can't beat the location. We actually extended our stay because we loved the house and city so much. Fantastic bars and restaurants all around."

The space
Clean, large, 5 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with the most amazing city views. Built in the 1870's, it is registered as a historic home. The house is very open with a center courtyard and upstairs terrace for viewing the city below. It is well maintained with comfortable furnishings throughout house. Most mattresses, bed coverings, pillows and towels are fairly new. It comes with high speed wireless internet, Dish Network (for movies), sound system and DVD players included. Washer and dryer are also at your disposal. Detergent not included.

Guest access
Entire house is at your disposal with the exception of storage room and rooftop.
Es la casa entera, 5 recamaras 2.5 baños. Casi 300 metros cuadrados.
Cuenta con todos los servicios.

Other things to note
The city of Guanajuato is built on hillsides. There is a slight climb to get to house. However, the fantastic views provided are well worth the effort.
Also, home sits directly behind and above Templo de San Francisco thus, you will be awakened every morning by tho sound of the church bells ringing. This, in our opinion, makes the stay even more special.

Location

Guanajuato, Mexico

Five bedroom home was built in the 1870's. The spectacular views and close proximity to city center are definitely our favorite features. Church domes are at eye level and are actually as close as they appear in photograph! Short walk to center plaza is very scenic and enjoyable. The iconic and well photographed "Puente del Campanero" and "Santo Cafe" are just three houses down from ours!

Parking has always been a problem and a challenge in Guanajuato. Home has no parking garage. We do have have an arrangement with a nearby neighbor where he will allow our guests to park (maximum of two cars) in their very large garage at $300 pesos per car, per 24 hours. If you go over 24 hours, he will charge you at a rate of $15 pesos per hour or an additional $300 pesos per day.
Note:
We are not responsible for your belongings nor for your vehicle. You park there and assume all risk.
Also, not one, but two parking garages are just a two to three minute walk from house, they charge $17 pesos per hour. You'll love the location.
Note: Most of Guanajuato is built on hillsides. There is a slight uphill slope to get to house.

Amo a mi cultura, mi comida y mi gente!
