The space

Cozy one bedroom with a full bath. Full kitchen like a normal apartment so great for longer stays...especially if you want to do a bit of cooking. I have a fully functioning kitchen with plates/pots/pans/spices etc. Washer/Dryer in the basement your welcome to use if needed. There is also a drop off laundry mat around the corner on 9th Stree(URL HIDDEN) MY FAV place in STL is City Museum check out: (URL HIDDEN)

FREE PARKING assisgned and street parking is FREE! One spot directly behind the unit in a parking lot or street parking is free and easy. There are no other buildings across the street so parking is never an issue other than mardis gras weekend.

I try to furnish the units with things you may forget or need....if you need something ask..I may have it in the unit. Towels, blankets, extra sheets, blow dryer etc..is all here. If it's in the unit you are welcome to use it or eat it!

Guest access

This is a 4 family building. I own the entire building. There is a front door to the building that then leads to the door to the units. The front door and the unit locks are on combo deadbolt locks that are battery operated. So self check in is at anytime after 3:00. The codes to both doors will be sent just prior to check in. I try to do my best to work with early/late check out's but keep in mind that I book my cleaning crew and have to work with their schedule also. We however can accomodate luggage storage.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Demi's place. We definitely recommend staying here. Demi responds quickly to messages. The apartment was clean. The price was great. The location was close to everything we visited in St. Louis. We also appreciated that Demi provided wifi, tv, food, bathroom toiletries, etc. If those are all qualities you are looking for in an AirBnB apartment, then you've found the right place!

The location is great - right next to the heart of Soulard. And her place has everything that you will need! She's thought of everything, little helpful signs occasionally to give you tips on how to work things, everything in the kitchen to cook a meal, etc. And Demi was great with communication, always very prompt and helpful. I highly recommend this place for your stay in St Louis!

This apartment was perfect for a weekend trip to St. Louis. It was so cozy, clean, and comfortable! I was pleasantly surprised at how close it was to restaurants, shops, and the downtown area. Would definitely go back!

People! Do not pass this place up! The place itself inside is on point. Things that you may have forgotten to bring no worries it's there. So clean, so convenient, so quiet, so why aren't you booking already!?! It is an apartment on the first floor if a two story building, so be aware of that as you may hear upstairs noise every once in a great while. Once you walk through the door of the apartment you are blown away by how nice it is. You do not hear outside noise and barely hear anybody upstairs. You are super close to the Soulard farmers market and all the activities around that area and 5 minutes will get you directly downtown by the old dome. Everything that you could possibly need is there and then some. The host was extremely informative from the get go and we had no problems getting in or getting situated. You will not be disappointed....I can't believe you're still reading this as you should have already booked. Enjoy your stay!

Pros: the apartment is spacious and clean, nicely laid out and furnished with delightful care and attention to detail. The quality of bedding, linens and bathroom supplies is top notch. A very welcoming place. The neighborhood, while a little desolate if you arrive at night, is close to shops and restaurants of Soulard area. Demand has thoughtfully created a fiolser of nearby attractions as well as a comprehensive check in mail with all details you need at check in. Cons For me, the mattress while wonderfully dressed in 100% cotton bedding, is delightful to fall into but impossibly soft to sleep on, with a distinct sag in the middle that is uncomfortable for a single occupant and probably much worse for a couple. The unit is ground floor with a glass paned back door in the bedroom. Since the neighborhood is a bit desolate at night, I did feel a little bit vulnerable to be there alone.

Demi's place was probably the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in, in terms of convenience and provisions. She literally had everything we could have needed, and the little details/extra touches made it extra special! Not only was the place beautiful on the inside, but it was incredibly conveniently located to everything we did in STL - a mere 10-15 minute drive to all of the main attractions, and that's not even counting the adorable Soulard neighborhood just outside the door. Demi was extremely helpful and communicative, going above and beyond to make sure we were aware of all the details of the apartment as well as warning us about road closures and other factors that might have affected our stay. Truly a 5 star experience all around!

Interaction with guests

I work a busy schedule as a Realtor with Remax and manage my rental buildings (12 buildings). I also rehab homes. I'm here to help and answer and questions. Interaction will be minimal if any. If you need anything texting is easier for me to respond quickly.,,, versus answering calls or listening to voicemail.

BOTH DOORS you will be using are on Kwickset electronic key pads so self check in is easy. WE send a short video via text after the unit is clean and ready for check in. We also change the code to the unit with every guest.

About Demi

Hi!
I work full time in Real Estate as Remax RealtorAgent. I I also own rentals and rehab houses here in the city of St. Louis. I run three small businesses so it keeps me really busy!
I love traveling. Both my parents immigrated from Greece so I have been lucky to travel there every few years to visit family. I feel my early experiences in traveling to Europe helped me understand and love traveling.

Partially because of my love for traveling and my background in real estate I decided to turn one of my units into an Airbnb in the fall of 2015. I had such a great experience in the first year that I recently converted the unit next door (same building) as my second Airbnb unit in the summer of 2016. Check out both units!!
I try to think of anything I forget/need on my trips so the units are set up for those with longer visits also.

The really great thing about Airbnb is you truly get to experience the neighborhood. There are no hotels in Soulard or within blocks of my unit. Feel free to email or text with any questions and I'll be happy to respond as quickly as possible.
