A perfect getaway. We were there over Columbus Day weekend. Quiet, peacefull. Lynda is an awesome host. Her place is well equipped from kitchen to living /sleeping space to outside. Lynda went above and beyond when she found out we wanted to fish. She left her dock in for us, a week later than she normally does. We had access to 2 kayaks and a 3 man canoe. She was very easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. There was a bottle of wine and homemade cookies waiting for us on kitchen table when we got in! We had some rather rainy days and the day we were to check out was going to be gorgeous. She told us she had no guests arriving after us so stay a bit later to enjoy day if we wanted to. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this as a beautiful getaway , with a phenomenal host.

We loved our stay at Lynda's! It has all of the modern conveniences but is also very scenic and peaceful. Lynda was also very welcoming! We highly recommend it!

This was our second summer back and it was just as wonderful, if not more so, as last year. Lynda is the consummate host, the house is pristine and the lake is perfection. Pro tip: sleep with the curtains open in the bedroom, as rising to sunrise on the lake is just spectacular. Pinks and oranges and blues and pure magic! We just left and already are looking forward to our return next year!

Response from Lynda:
Karim is right. Scott paper is the most biodegradable. If you need soft you can rub it together before using it. It softens it a little. Lol Lynda

My family and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful lake house! We swam, fished, canoed, kayaked, grilled out, and enjoyed S'Mores by the campfire. Lynda was a wonderful host, ensuring that we had everything we needed before and during our visit - including having homemade chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter-chocolate fudge, and a bottle of red wine when we arrived! The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable for our stay. Our two small children enjoyed the sandy beach access to the pristine, crystal clear lake. We also visited nearby Portland and the Maine Wildlife Park and made a trip up to Acadia. Such a wonderful and memorable trip - we'd highly recommend it!

What a wonderful place for a classic Maine family vacation. Our stay brought back great memories of Summers by the Lake when as a child my family had a house in the area. Upper Range Pond is one of the more peaceful and pretty lake in the area. You’ll find loons singing up close and they will get right up to you. A lot of things to do in the area including great climbs and mountain swimming holes in the White Mountains and If you like the tourist activities they are all close by. We did it all and could return and relax to a beautiful and peaceful lake without all the noise of the more “touristy” lakes. There is nothing like watching a full moon rise over the lake or a fire by the lake. Lynda is a wonderful host. She greeted us with a bottle of wine and home backed goodies, how’s that for hospitality. She quickly responded to our calls. The house is well equipped and aside from your own food everything else you’ll need is supplied.
