Our late 18th Century house, lovingly restored, is in the historical town of Stow-on-the-Wold and has the perfect combination of modern comforts with a touch of vintage charm.. just paces away, literally from the best eateries in town. Our rooms have tranquil colour schemes and a splash of luxury with Crisp White Bedding , Soft Towels , Pod Coffee & Tea making facilities, Freeview TV & WiFi.
Our guests love being here, read our reviews and book to stay... we look forward to meeting you!

The space
Bedroom 2, lovingly known as the long room, is on the first floor in the middle of the house, with a double bed, en-suite with bath and high water pressure hand held shower and a charming private Velux window allowing the warm glow of a nearby street light to provide a romantic atmosphere when bathing.
The room is equipped with a Dualit Pod Coffee maker with Yorkshire teabags for tea and of course our infamous Luxury Bedding and Towels!
We are not fans of UHT milk so we provide a chilled bottle of milk on arrival and also outside your door in the morning.

Guest access
We always like to greet our guests personally where possible and will meet you at the front door and guide you to the private guest entrance to the side of the house which is through the walled garden. A narrow path leads to the patio doors into the dining room. All rooms are up a narrow staircase typical of a house of this vintage..

Other things to note
Check-in is available between 4 and 7pm and check-out by 10am.
We do try to be flexible depending on our commitments.

Our rates are Room Only.

Parking is free on both sides of Park Street but can get busy. There is also free parking behind the house on Back Walls, the road which runs parallel with Park Street. Finally, 250m down the hill is a “Pay and Display” or “Phone and Don’t Display” car park.

We are a lively, friendly and sociable couple who have recently left behind collectively 35 years in the corporate world to run our Stow on the Wold & Bourton on the Water Holiday Accommodation full time. We play tennis, walk, cook and really enjoy the local area having visited ten years ago and fallen in love with it. Our rooms at Stow House and our two Holiday homes are the result of a vision mixing vintage with modern luxury.... and containing all the luxuries that guests look for when staying away from home. I also speak fluent Italian.
