Sallent de Gállego is a charming high mountain village located
in the heart of Valle de Tena, more than 1,300 meters altitude, surrounded by imposing peaks such as the Midi d 'Osau and the Anayet. Its old town retains the traditional charm of the Aragonese Pyrenees, with cobbled streets, stone houses with slate roofs and a 16th-century Gothic church that dominates the landscape.
The Gállego River runs through the village, creating picturesque corners and trails around it ideal for strolling. Sallent is also an excellent starting point for excursions, mountain routes and outdoor activities throughout the year. In winter, it is only a few minutes from the ski resort of Formigal, one of the largest in Spain.
Despite its size, Sallent boasts a great range of bars, restaurants and small shops, making it the perfect place to enjoy the tranquillity of the mountains without giving up comfort.
