The space
Be inspired by the natural Philippine beach life, the richness of nature and an imaginative, creative and peaceful environment. Experience the moment, the natural tranquillity and adventurous activities, diverse impressions and perspectives. Listen to the sound of the sea, become acquainted with new cultures and people and enjoy delicious food and positive vibes during your much longed-for timeout.

Slow Food Restaurant & Bar
We will prepare all dishes and drinks in accordance with local culinary traditions and locally sourced ingredients. The focus on sustainable and organic eating is healthy for everyone. (full board 1,000 PHP / half board 750 PHP per day)

Leisure Time
Sun, beach and the sea are the basic ingredients for a pleasant holiday.
At our camp there are numerous other things that also make the trip unforgettable: We offer you yoga and cooking courses or organize excursions by boat and basketball games with the village team.
Those who want to climb a coconut palm and then skillfully crack open the nut themselves with a machete, can learn that here.

Recreational Activities
One very authentic way of exploring the bay is with a little baruto boat and paddle. Other shorter activities are swimming and rambling. And those who simply want to relax can do this at any time in our garden, in tree houses or in original chill-out zones on the beach. There is also a little street art gallery with local and european art works.
Those who want to test their boundaries can go on a guided jungle tour with Tribu hill people we are friends with, including sleeping outdoors. Or they can take part in a fishing excursion lasting several days, out in the open sea with an outrigger boat belonging to a local fisherman.

Listen to your art!
As street art is very close to our hearts it will be a vital part of the Kaibigan Soul Camp. We especially appreciate artists who deploy their creative skills to interpret socially relevant content and send their message in their individual language of art.
Street Art Rebelzer from Hamburg [Germany] was the first street artist to paint a wall at Kaibigan Soul Camp. We are looking forward to any who will follow his example!:)

In Tagalog, the language of the Philippines, the word “Kaibigan” means "friendship" or "amorous liaison", depending on how it is pronounced.

Both translations reflect our relationship to foreign countries and cultures. The term also symbolizes a sense of togetherness, which is very important to us. Our undertaking would never have succeeded without the help of many friends. Their personal input on location, as well as their experience and suggestions, were full of valuable information and advice. This energy can be felt everywhere and is one reason for the very positive vibe in the camp.

We — Elizabeth, Pascale and Silke — are three German friends who have travelled passionately throughout Asia for many years. In 2014 we made the decision of running a resort and restaurant together here in Cabuyao. Two years later we are excited to announce the opening of our Kaibigan Soul Camp on Palawan. The secluded location and the tranquillity of the fishing village, our do-it-yourself mentality and ingenious leisure activities contribute to making you relaxed, well-balanced and happy. Our guests live in individually designed accommodations suited to different budgets and tastes: beach villas, open huts, bamboo tents and a five-room guest house. Welcome to Kaibigan Soul Camp Palawan! PS: As there are no mobile phone reception and internet signals in Cabuyao we will answer phone calls, short messages or emails as soon as possible. Two till three times a week we will go to Puerto Princesa City to get in touch with our guests, families and friends.
