Step inside this studio barn space and you’ll find a charming haven featuring separate living, kitchen, and bathroom areas, crowned by a plush queen-size bed for long, dreamy sleep-ins. The fully equipped modern kitchen boasts an induction cooktop, microwave with air fryer and oven, and a spacious refrigerator. You’ll find everything you need – from quality crockery and glassware to cooking essentials like oil, salt, pepper, tea, and coffee – so you can settle in and simply be.
The living room is an embrace of comfort and elegance, with a deep, luxurious sofa and expansive windows framing the ever-changing vistas. As twilight falls, curl up by the electric fireplace with a glass of local wine and your favourite book – or simply watch the clouds dance across the Channel.

Guests have exclusive access to the entire barn, a beautifully appointed space with all the amenities you’d expect in a luxury retreat. While there are other dwellings on the property, the barn is entirely separate and thoughtfully screened to ensure complete privacy.
Whether you're relaxing indoors or enjoying the surrounding nature, the space is designed to make you feel as though you're the only one around. Come and go as you please — your time here is entirely your own.

We do have basic pantry necessities which include: plunger or pod coffee, ground coffee beans, milk, black and herbal teas, salt, pepper, cereal, vinegar and oil.

The D'entrecasteaux Channel is located between Bruny Island and the Tasmanian mainland. Birchs Bay is a small rural community dotted with working farms, vineyards, hobby farms and gourmet food producers. Woodbridge village is less than five minutes drive and has a small general store, cafe and the award winning Peppermint Bay Hotel. Only 10 minutes drive to Kettering, the gateway to Bruny Island. You can head south through Middleton, Gordon and all the way to Cygnet in the Huon Valley. Alternatively you can drive through Woodbridge and up over Woodbridge Hill Road to Cygnet and all the way back to Hobart if desired.
