As the evening cools, the outdoor fire pit offers a welcoming place to gather, with a custom grill plate designed for simple cooking over the flames, best suited to meats rather than flat-style cooking, while the indoor fireplace brings warmth and a soft, ambient glow inside the Igloo.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for comfortable, easy cooking during your stay and a live-edge timber dining table offers a beautiful setting for dining, working, or lingering a little longer.
A tucked-away laundry nook with a washing machine and dryer allows you to refresh clothes or linens during your stay.
Step onto the patio and settle into timber rocking chairs beneath the tree canopy - perfect for morning coffee, afternoon stillness, or stargazing beneath an open sky.

The bedroom features a king-sized bed dressed in quality linens and pillows, framed by a romantic canopy. The spacious bathroom features large arched windows that bring the outdoors in, allowing nature to become part of your bathing experience.
Soak in the restored antique cast-iron freestanding bath, or refresh under the large copper rain shower, complemented by a handcrafted copper shower stand. Natural products and thoughtful details create a soothing, spa-like atmosphere designed for unhurried moments.

The Sunshine Coast Hinterland is alive year-round. Native flowers attract bees and butterflies, while lizards, frogs, and the occasional shy snake may pass through -all part of the area’s natural rhythm. Organic insect repellent and outdoor lanterns are provided for your comfort.
From time to time, you may notice gentle daytime sounds such as lawn mowing, neighbours tending to their land, or family life nearby, particularly during holidays. These moments are usually brief and sit naturally within the landscape, often accompanied by the calls of local birdlife.
As evening approaches, the area settles into a slower, more peaceful rhythm.
Picnic & Garden Bounty
A picnic basket and blanket are provided for relaxed outdoor moments. Fill it with local treats, lay it out beneath the trees, and let time slow as nature wraps around you.
The property is home to macadamia and avocado trees, banana plants, passionfruit vines, and a young fruit forest with a variety of exotic species. When in season, guests are welcome to enjoy the garden’s bounty in moderation, with a small selection offered as a complimentary gift.

The entire Igloo, along with the deck and outdoor firepit, is yours to enjoy. The space is expansive and open, yet beautifully secluded, offering the perfect balance of peace and tranquility. While we live in the main house on the property, the Igloo is far enough to ensure you have your own space to relax and unwind.

To maintain the tranquil atmosphere of our property, we kindly request that parties or large gatherings are NOT hosted at the Igloo.
For the comfort of all guests, we are unable to accommodate pets. Smoking is NOT permitted.
This property has been thoughtfully designed as a peaceful, romantic retreat for adults. For this reason, it is not suitable for babies or children, and we kindly ask that only adults are permitted.
Our igloo is a one-bedroom retreat for two, and only registered guests are allowed. To ensure privacy and comfort, additional visitors must be approved in advance. Access to the igloo may be revoked if extra guests arrive without prior arrangement.
