The black-out blinds and extra bedding are loved by guests.
Let time slow down as you enjoy this unforgettable escape, perched atop 50 acres of rolling hills. Home to kangaroos, cockatoos, eagles, kookaburras, koalas, lizards and much more, the land is an animal lover’s paradise.
Located just 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD - perfect for a weekend getaway! We are in the heart of the Adelaide Hills winery region, with over a dozen cellar doors only a few minutes away – Pike & Joyce, Mt Lofty Ranges Winery, and Cobbs Hill Estate to name just a few.
The space
The tiny home is a fully self-contained space featuring a queen bed, living space, and separate bathroom with toilet.
The kitchen is fully equipped, including breakfast bar, bar fridge, two-burner gas cooktop, oven, full-sized sink, utensils and other equipment you may need for your stay.
As my way of welcoming you, a selection of essentials and local produce will greet you on your arrival. For guests staying two or more nights, a complimentary bottle of boutique Adelaide Hills wine will also be provided for your stay.
Bring the outdoors indoors with an elevated queen sized bed and full-length windows, offering panoramic views. Wake up to golden sunrises, tranquil sunsets, or even the feeling of being surrounded by clouds! The cherry on top is an overhead skylight with automated shutters, allowing you to stargaze from the comfort of your bed. When you desire privacy, blinds on all windows provide complete seclusion.
Kangaroo and koala sightings are common as are encounters with other local birds or wildlife - it's all part of the experience. :)
Blumenfeld tiny home is entirely private, located over 150 meters away and out of sight of the property residence.
Guest access
Guest can access the hill top that the tiny home is located on.
Other things to note
We utilise a blend of solar power and rainwater on the property to minimise our carbon footprint. The tiny home shares these resources and we ask our guests to be mindful of their water and power usage during their stay.
Please note that Blumenfeld is a working farm and occasionally some machinery will be operating. However, rest assured this will not be near the tiny home, typically not on weekends and definitely not during evening hours.

Hello there!
I am Kat, your host for your stay here at the blumenfeld tiny home. By day, I am an engineer, and by night (and weekends) I am a farmer, harvesting an assortment of fruits, nuts, and flowers.
Blumenfeld is a German name, meaning flower field, encapsulating my favourite part of the property - the protea field. I absolutely love connecting to the land and nature, and I am so excited to share this little slice of paradise with you.
