Beautiful 16th century cottage in the heart town. Le Bugue is a ancient town on the Vézère river, full of art and culture, restaurants and dining, great views, and family-friendly activities. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the outdoors space, and the neighborhood. La Roseraie is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Come and experience the beautiful Dordogne area.

Nice, cosy cottage near the centre of Bugue. It's a nice location to visit all the prehistoric caves and castles in the area. The cottage is over 3 floors with all modern amenities (microwave, wifi, laundry, drier etc). Michele was a good host and always available for answering an…

Positives: Great location, just a short (if a little steep) walk and you're in the centre of the small town where there are plenty of restaurants, shops, bakeries and a lovely market on Tuesday morning. There are all the essentials for a short trip if you are using it as a base t…

If you knew the Dordogne, some part of Japan or any place in the world which is a 16th century cottage, build again the roc, when the weather goes to the storm, which was the case, the all areas feel damp, the all atmosphere become like a cave... and fews spiders develop just in a day. For each entry, there is a total full day of cleaning, and washing, and all the beds are changed. I refused to use repulsive stray in the all house, for killing spiders or flies which may get in. This is a country cottage, not a city apartment, I do not like that artificial sent, and if I am allergic to it, I wouldn't want my guests to feel uncomfortable by the use of it. As for the spot of rust on the cover of the metal spare bed, it is not blood. There is an electric oven, which can be ALSO a micro-wave.

Before booking this apartment, I had emailed Michele and asked a few questions. She immediately got back to me with detailed information. She even went above and beyond and looked into fishing options for my son. The apartment was exactly as described. It is a perfect French get…

Thank you Lisa, for your wonderful review on the house... and about me ! it does warm up my heart ! Thank you for your advise about the wifi, the walls are so thick, it just behind the door of the living room.... Ok, next time, it will be fix ! About the speed, there is nothing to do, the all Dordogne is like that !
