We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The stars at night were just spectacular (new moon and clear skies.) Beth communicated quickly and let us know right away when there was a snag with the AC. She offered other options as backup if the house temp became uncomfortable. It turned out fine.
We had lovely lake views, a short walk to the common dock, and took a spin in the paddle boat, which can be reserved at registration.
The house is part of a Methodist Church property for retreats, called The Hinton Center. We enjoyed a simple but delicious cafeteria style dinner at the retreat center, which was a nice option to have.
However, once you check in, you are away from it all and only need to mingle if you choose.
We were sorry to leave and felt a couple of more days would have been wonderful.
