The space
Everest provides private ground-level accommodation for up to nine guests with an extra-large living space that flows onto wrap-around terraces and stunning gardens. There is a choice of three beautifully appointed bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen plus a barbecue area situated at the 120-year-old farm shed.
The bedrooms all have stunning garden outlooks, queen-sized beds, high ceilings, fans, heaters and terracotta tiled floors. The Hydrangea Bedroom offers delightful garden and lawn views through glass sliding doors. The Geranium Bedroom is styled with a trip to Amalfi in mind, with a picture garden window. The Wisteria Bedroom has direct access to a private Italianate courtyard and is perfect for a family of three, with a queen bed and a king single bed. Pure cotton bed linen, duvets and blankets are provided.
The kitchen greets guests with freshly baked bread and preserves, local Maleny milk, excellent coffee and tea, plus citrus from the orchard when in season, for your first breakfast. Fully equipped with a refrigerator, fan-forced oven, hotplate, microwave, crockery, cutlery, and coffee machine, you can cook in or head out to one of the many excellent restaurants only minutes away.
The living-dining area offers spacious, casual entertaining with Italian terracotta floor tiles, large country dining table, smart TV, music speaker and two large sofas (one is an extra pull-out bed). A well-stocked bookshelf provides hours of reading plus plenty of indoor games. The space flows seamlessly into the garden via a clever moving wall.
There are two bathrooms, while not ultra-modern, there is a heated deep spa bath, shower and toilet in one. The second bathroom has a shower, which can also be used as a bath for small children, toilet and make-up vanity.
On arrival, guests are greeted by a level, tennis court-sized, grassy area, much loved for wedding photography or a game of boules. Discover water features, bird baths, a gazebo to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and covered in grape vines at certain times of the year, a Tuscan-style courtyard, a vegetable garden and orchard and many other private spots to sit and enjoy nature and the many birds who visit daily.
The 'Lakehouse' garden pavilion with large BBQ is ideal for enjoying alfresco dining. During cooler months, the fire pit is a wonderful spot to gather and enjoy the silence and the starry sky.
Discover the true delight of 'Everest' gardens. If you have a passion for flowers, flora, plants and trees, you will not be disappointed by the variety and there is always something to delight at all times of the year. There are too many species of plants to mention, but the azaleas, camellias, orchids, heliconias, and hydrangeas are but a few.
When in season, the orchard offers a variety of fruits for you to savour during your stay, including oranges, mandarins, lemons, and grapefruit.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire ground floor, which is surrounded by terraces and multiple places to sit, as well as over an acre of stunning established gardens. At the back of the garden The Lakehouse - an original 100- year-old shed, offers a large barbecue area with seating for groups and outdoor games like boules, quoits and darts.
Other things to note
We are pet-friendly for dogs and can accommodate 2 dogs (up to 25kg each). Please let us know if you are bringing a service dog (no charge). Our gardens are large and well away from the traffic; however, we do not have fenced yards.
We are located close to lots of local hinterland walks and stunning lookout views.
