It is in this old barn that you will gather with friends and families (10 people being comfortable). On the ground floor you will find a living room with fireplace and a dining room, the fully equipped kitchen, a living room with TV and DVD player and a bathroom with shower. On the 1st floor there are 5 bedrooms, the bathroom (with bathtub) and the Pigeonnier (info/reading area). There are toilets on each floor. You have exclusive access to the terrace, the garden is to be shared.

The space
Le Pigeonnier rural cottage is a large 180 m2 house renovated in an old farmhouse and decorated in a rustic and comfortable style.
On the ground floor: a large living / dining room (table up to 14 people) open to the upstairs upstairs. You will also find the kitchen and TV lounge with views of the garden and access to the terrace. On the ground floor, there is also a toilet, bathroom with shower and garage (you will find a washing machine, dryer, clotheslines, wood for the fireplace and garbage cans).
On the first floor, you have a reading area in the Pigeonnier and on the mezzanine (very bright thanks to the wide velux). The first bedroom consists of a double bed (140cm wide) that overlooks the garden and countryside. Then, the next door leads you (you have to climb a staircase) to the dormitory where there are 2 single beds. Then comes a spacious bathroom with 2 basins and a bathtub. Another bathroom separate from the bathroom is on this floor. The other 3 bedrooms overlook the street: the green bedroom (2 single beds adjoined), the pink bedroom (a double bed of 140cm) and the twin bedroom (2 bunk beds 90x190).

The house is adjoining on each side, on the main street of the village. It is not possible to park your car right in front of the house for a long time. Parking is free 50 m away on private property.

You share the garden with the owners. You are responsible for your children and other indoor and outdoor tenants.

/!\ You have the option to request that the beds be made upon arrival for an additional €20/bed (which includes linens and also towels and dish towels). The transfer for sheets must be made at least one week before your arrival, otherwise we will not be able to provide you with this service.

Guest access
You have access to every room of the Gite as well as the terrace. Only the garden is to be shared with the owners.

We have lived in Echenay for 46 years, our cottage will soon celebrate its 30th anniversary. We love to receive people from all over, to make new acquaintances... We have 3 children who have left home but who often return with our 6 adorable grandchildren. We were farmers, I was also a childminder. We spend a lot of time in the garden with our guests. We garden in the summer because we like to enjoy our beautiful fruits and vegetables. We look forward to seeing you there.
