In a very natural setting amongst the majestic redwoods, we are adjacent to thousand of acres of Wilder Ranch state park, offering endless hiking and mountain biking right out the door. You’ll love the place because of the warmth of a space that is cared for, with colorful and tasteful decorations creating a sense of taste and cozy beauty. Enjoy the great afternoon sun streaming in the windows and pictured sun deck with outdoor tub and shower.

The space
We offer a full chef's kitchen, where you will find many high-quality pots and pans to use on the gas stove, and a wide variety of spices, all the popular cooking oils, and other extras available for your use.

There is also a queen-size bed in an actual loft; climbing the pictured ladder to the loft will be necessary to sleep there. The loft is above the main room, also pictured. You will also enjoy a private indoor bathroom with shower, in addition to the outdoor shower and soaking tub.

We are located just ten minutes from Santa Cruz, where you can visit the famous Boardwalk, surf, play at the beaches, shop downtown, kayak, or see the monarchs at Natural Bridges State Park. My home in Bonny Doon is only two miles from Henry Cowell State Park, Roaring Camp Railroads. It is close by Big Basin State Park, Castle Rock State Park, for easy access to hiking, mountain biking, swimming.

For grocery shopping you can either drive to Santa Cruz or have easy access to Felton where you will find both a Safeway and New Leaf (natural foods) grocery stores. Big Basin State Park, Loch Lomond, wine tasting, and the Big Foot Museum are all in the area, too.
