This luxurious 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom property offers a sophisticated haven for those seeking an upscale getaway with breathtaking, long-range views of the Great Smoky Mountains and community dock access to Fontana Lake.

Dragonfly’s thoughtfully designed, three-level layout ensures privacy and comfort. Each of the three king bedrooms has its own private ensuite bathroom and smart TV, creating a serene, personal space for every guest. Step into the upper-level home theater room, a true cinematic experience with surround sound, a massive 98" screen, and motorized blackout shades to set the perfect atmosphere at the touch of a button.

The heart of the home, the great room, features modern, designer decor anchored by an elegant ribbon-style gas fireplace and chic lighting. A Samsung “The Frame” TV here displays curated digital art when not in use, adding a gallery-like touch to the sophisticated atmosphere. Adjacent, the fully stocked gourmet kitchen awaits, featuring high-end Henckels knives, T-Fal cookware, an Instant Pot multi-cooker, and a versatile 4-in-1 Inverter microwave/air fryer for effortless meal prep. Gather around the expansive dining table, which seats up to ten and offers a captivating, open-air dining experience with sweeping views from sliding glass doors.

Outdoor spaces invite relaxation with a covered patio complete with a cushioned sectional, a cozy gas fire pit, and a perfectly positioned hot tub that offers magnificent mountain views. The private community dock on Fontana Lake is accessible to all guests, making it easy to bring or rent a boat, launch at Almond Boat Park just a short cruise away, and then utilized the covered Rockledge docks for the duration of your stay.

Rockledge’s prime location offers unique access to the Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) via a private road, winding through a zip-line course to NOC’s campus. Here, adventure awaits with whitewater rafting, zip-lining, and even the chance to meet Appalachian Trail hikers or spot Olympic kayakers training on the river. There are restaurants options and a convenience store here as well.

Property Layout:

Main Level: Features the first king bedroom with a smart TV and private bathroom with a shower. The great room, dining area, and covered porch with a fire pit and hot tub are all located on this level.
Upper Level: Hosts the second king bedroom with a private bathroom, a garden tub, and the home theater room.
Lower Level: Houses the third king bedroom, complete with a smart TV, private bathroom with heated floors, and a cozy private deck. Also on this level, guests will find a full laundry area.

Note: The water level of Fontana Lake is seasonal, with boating access generally available from Memorial Day to Labor Day, though conditions can extend the season depending on rainfall.

TV programming is via streaming. YouTubeTV subscription is provided with access to local channels and many others. HBO/Max is part of the subscription, as is Paramount+. Other Smart TV apps are available on the TVs but require your own login for streaming.

Gas grill is provided with a tank. Outdoor fire pit also has a tank. There is a spare tank on site in case either of the other tanks run dry or malfunction.

Boat dock is shared with the community. Some slips are assigned and dedicated, but there are always slips reserved for use by renters. It's a 5 minute drive down to the boat docks, where you park and walk across the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad tracks to the docks. It's exciting if you happen to experience the railroad steam by. Launching boats is easiest at the nearby Almond Boat Park, where you may store a trailer during your stay (they may charge a fee). You can leave boats tied up overnight durning your stay. Please notify the local office if you have a boat, just so we can inform the HOA.

Travelling are me and my husband, Anthony. I have invited him to join this reservation. We land at BCN early morning and then are flying to Malaga to start our trip in Spain. We have been to BCN several times, but this trip was are doing Malaga and Menorca as well. We picked your place because of the excelent decor and the location. I am a Superhost in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina and Anthony is a physician. We actually live in Atlanta
