4 BR, 1 Bath, laundry rm w/washer & dryer & iron & deep sink, kitchennette (no cookstove) w/full sized frig, sink, dishes, microwave, coffee maker w/coffee & snack basket, family room, (DISH TV in one BR or the family room - Guest choice), central H & AC, large paved parking area. The family room has a couch & love seat & a table w/chairs. We have a "pack n play" & and highchair available at no extra charge IF PREARRANGED AT LEAST 48 HOURS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.

The space
We are located in the country on a one+ acre lot, 15 min. from K-zoo breweries & downtown, 20 minutes from airport, 5 min. from Gull Meadow Farm, 15 min from Gilmore Car Museum, 5 min from Gull Lake & Gull Lake Country Club.

Guest access
Any guests have the entire lower level space to themselves but are only charged for the space they use and the number of guests here. Each adult couple will be given a key for an entrance only used by guests to the downstairs level.

We are in a quiet, country setting, but only 5 minutes from restaurants, grocery stores (Meijer & Walmart), and other popular stores (Dollar Tree, Walgreens, Arby's, McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Panera Bread, QDobas, Applebees, Starbucks, Biggby's, Pappa John, Hungry Howies, & more)

My wife, Karen, and I (Larry) have been married for 47 years! We were married when we were 10! :) We have parented 8 children, all our own biological children, and now have extra space in our home that we share. We are educators and are semi-retired. We love to travel. We love movies and live theater. We are big fans of British and French culture, but we are not big spenders. We spent all our money on our rearing our kids. Karen loves everything Charles Dickens and Shakespearean. Larry loves whatever Karen loves. Neither of us are very mechanical or technological, but thanks to our adult kids, we both have up-to-date technology: wireless internet in the home, iphones, Apple TV, Netflix, a Firestick, and a host of technology that we often have to call them to understand how to use! We have eight grandchildren - only four within an hour of us - the other four are in Indianapolis. We love our privacy and assume our guests do as well, so you will only see us when you check in and get a key, but we are as available during your stay as you might need us to be. We are laid back, seldom worry, glass half-full folks, and try to live life fully in the moment. We are not wealthy financially, but feel incredibly blessed in so many important ways. We love making memories - we have played Wheel of Fortune on national television over 20 years ago and in February of 2008, Karen won the showcase on Price is Right. Part of that showcase is our nicest bedroom in our Air B n B, which we call the "Price Is Right" room! (We provide a DVD of Karen's appearance for any guests who want to see it!) We love life and spend as much time laughing and loving as possible! Come stay with us!

We like our privacy and assume that most guests do as well, so we try to welcome guests warmly, explain the "lay of the land," give them a key and our cell phone numbers, making ourselves available via phone for whatever whenever, but we stay completely in our own lives and space and expect that our guests will desire to do the same.
