The space
Nestled in the heart of Wānaka, Scout’s outdoor spaces are designed to connect you with the stunning landscape. The private outdoor bathtub is perfect for stargazing year-round, while the mezzanine balcony offers breathtaking views of Lake Wānaka and the Southern Alps. A sunken living area with frameless corner windows draws the beauty of the outdoors inside, creating the perfect backdrop for your stay.
Scout features two master bedrooms, each with its own ensuite and skylight for unparalleled stargazing. A third spacious bedroom, with a lovely view and adjacent bathroom, ensures every guest enjoys a luxurious retreat. With plush beds, premium linens, and ample storage, these restful spaces are crafted for ultimate comfort.
The mezzanine level offers a unique multi-purpose space, complete with a balcony overlooking the lake. Perfect for yoga sessions, reading, or movie nights, it also includes a record player for a touch of nostalgia.

Please be aware that this property is managed by ‘Release NZ’. We are a local Wanaka property management business and we are legally responsible for the care of the property. We require a fully refundable security bond for each booking. This will be refunded in full within 7 days of departure, as long as no loss or damage has occurred at the property. We require credit card details either before you arrive or on the day of arrival. The security bond for Scout is $1,000.
There is a one-off booking management fee of NZ$300 per reservation. On Airbnb, this fee is spread over the nights of your booking.
If you are checking in or out on a public holiday, a surcharge of $NZ 280.00 is added to your booking. If the check-in & check-out dates both fall on public holiday, the surcharge will be $NZ 280.00 for each day.
All bookings made with Release Wanaka through this platform are subject to receipt of a signed rental agreement. A booking is not considered confirmed until the agreement has been completed and received.
