Second-story apartment two short blocks, merely steps, from the beach, with ocean views. Perfect for big groups and families-- close to restaurants and dining, parks, shops, and much more! You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the views, and the location.
3 bedroom, 2 bath, entire floor of beautiful coquina 2-story triplex! Enjoy the sound of waves breaking as the ocean breeze rolls off of the Atlantic from the eastward facing balcony of this three bedroom dream. Two blocks from the beach, with a full kitchen, laundry appliances, television, WiFi, and even an outdoor shower to get that sand off after a stroll on the beach.
The space is defined upon entrance by the black marble tile throughout and bold white columns that divide the common areas while maintaining an open floor plan. A large sectional leather sofa centers around an XL ottoman surface which doubles as storage and possesses cushions that flip to become trays. An HDTV is installed on a swivel mount and is adjustable for optimal viewing. Cable is provided through XFINITY-- the new box in the living room has Netflix capabilities given the guest is a subscriber and can enter login information. All secure information will be wiped upon completion of rental.
To the right of the entertainment area is a lockable sliding glass door with blinds, leading to a wooden wrap-around balcony. Here there is a durable outdoor table with two tall chairs set to overlook the ocean. The wrap around banister serves as the perfect spot to hang towels and clothing out to dry and bathe in the atlantic breeze.
On the east side of the interior space is the large oval wooden dining table and kitchen with long spacious counters leading to a back-door access overlooking the large and spacious yard. Stools seat snackers at a nook close to the dining area. Provided is a coffee maker, blender, toaster, and kettle. Paper towels and dish soap are also supplied. Dining, cooking, and silverware are stocked. Complimentary bottled waters are stored in the fridge.
Two twin beds are located in the authentic wood-paneled room immediately behind the entertainment area, with access to a full bathroom adjoining the washer and dryer area. Essentials are stocked in both bathrooms.

The master bedroom is seated at the back of the apartment. It is the largest, equipped with two closets and a swivel mounted television with cable. This TV is not HD and does not support apps. The bed is an XL queen and sits high. The bedroom down the hall has a full sized bed, shelves, and closet.
All rooms maintain an excess of uncluttered space to assure ease of luggage and clothing storage, as well as to maximize navigability and cleanliness.
There is an outdoor shower on the east-facing side of the house between two storage sheds.

Interaction with guests
I am a licensed real estate broker and property manager. I love the ocean and welcome my guests to a relaxing stay by the sea. I try very hard to have everything ready for your stay yet am on hand should you have any questions. During your stay I will be readily available in the area as well as via cellphone, email, or Airbnb messaging system.
Feel free to inquire about any suggestions regarding activities, restaurants etc. as the area is my home; I have raised a family in Jacksonville and lived here all my life. I love feedback and hearing about the places you visited and things you did that were enjoyable while you were my guest.
Other things to note
Board games and chapter books are stocked in the cabinet behind the TV in the living room as well as shelves along the wall in the twin bedroom.
There are two thermostats to control the temperature. I ask you do not set the temperature below 72 degrees in order to prevent 'freezing up' of the unit.
In case of inclement weather there are a multitude of options available to brighten your stay. From local movie theatres to museums and planetariums, indoor activities in the Jacksonville area prove to engage and amaze visitors. Rainy day highlights are available in this listing's personalized local Guidebook, complete with addresses and maps of locations.
The City of Jacksonville Beach Ocean Rescue Division and the American Red Cross Volunteer Life Saving Corps provide ocean safety to residents and visitors along our beach year round. Beach staffing is weather dependent. In case of severe weather, lifeguards will continue monitoring the beach via truck patrols. Beach wheelchairs for the disabled are available upon request at the main lifeguard station located at 2 Oceanfront North.
Most beach accesses employ a prominently displayed colored flag system to signify tide and weather conditions. The ocean is always unpredictable, and we urge guests to keep in mind that even on clear and calm days, hazards still exist. Below is an index of our local Jax Beach colored flag rating system:
Two Red Flags: No water activity is allowed. Lifeguards and local law enforcement patrol the beach ensuring the safety of everyone.
One Red Flag: The public is encouraged to stay out of the ocean. Even the strongest swimmers can easily find themselves in dangerous currents. Rip currents are difficult to locate and are created without typical warning signs.
Yellow Flag: The public is encouraged to only swim in front of posted lifeguard towers. The lifeguards can spot most dangerous rip currents and inform the patrons accordingly. Lifeguard towers are usually posted at locations of safety.
Green Flag: The public is still encouraged to swim in front of posted lifeguard towers. Strong rip currents are static and can emerge with little warning.
Purple Flag: (Man-o-War, jellyfish of any variety, blue buttons, sea nettles) These dangerous marine creatures are difficult to spot because they tend to be under the water surface. Caution should be taken while swimming.
The Ocean Views and Ocean Breezes is an Upstairs apartment. Please be considerate of downstairs guests.
