Only metres away from the shores of beautiful Lake Bonney, our thoughtfully renovated 1960's lake house blends mid-century charm with modern updates. Sleeping 5 people across 2 bedrooms, Cally's Lake House is the perfect place to stay with family or friends.

The lake house is pet-friendly with a secure yard and grassed areas. Conveniently located within the peaceful Riverland town of Barmera, you are short walk to the main street (800m), Barmera Club and boat ramp (500m).

Our lake house offers airy, open plan living with an eclectic mix of vintage and modern furnishings that add a cosy and inviting feel.

The kitchen has been recently updated and includes an electric oven and cooktop, fridge, microwave & Lavazza coffee machine. It is equipped with all the basics including tea & coffee (instant plus a small selection of pods), sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper.

The fully renovated bathroom features a rain shower head, stone bench top and modern matte-black fixtures. For your convenience, hand wash, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and single-use toothbrush kits are supplied. There is also a hairdryer available for use. The bathroom also includes a washing machine (detergent included) and single toilet.

In the open plan living area you will find a dining setting that can seat up to six people, and a comfy 3.5-seater couch (along with a beanbag) facing a beautiful vintage bookshelf filled with an assortment of books and board games for your use. There is also a 55" Smart TV with access to the main streaming apps. The living area has a split system air-conditioning unit which works well to heat or cool the entire space.

The main bedroom features a queen bed, dresser with mirror and hanging space. There is also a desk with storage for remote work or study. The second bedroom features both a double and single bed, with convenient hanging storage. There is an assortment of children's books and toys to keep the whole family entertained. Each bedroom features a ceiling fan to provide extra comfort on those balmy nights.

All linen and bath towels are included in your stay. Beach towels are not supplied so please ensure you bring your own along for a swim in the lake.

There is also a supply of cleaning products, a dustpan and broom, and a vacuum cleaner.

The large front yard overlooks the lake, making it the perfect spot for your morning brew or an evening drink. The front patio features an 8-seater outdoor dining table and BBQ with plenty of space for entertaining. Add a little ambience in the evening with festoon lighting. The gravel driveway is large enough for multiple cars, boats and trailers. There is some undercover parking available for cars only given the low clearance.

The backyard is secure and spacious with a fire pit for cooler nights, as well as a grassed area that is perfect for pets and children.

Guest access
Guests will have full private access to the property, excluding the small shed in the backyard and the locked closet inside which house the owner's personal items.

Other things to note
A high chair and portacot are available upon request, free of charge.

There are multiple drying racks, detergent, and a washing basket in the home, should you wish to do laundry during your stay.

Please note the Riverland has a Fire Danger Season from approximately November to April each year and, during these times, fires are not permitted at the property.
