Upon confirmation of your booking you will receive access codes into the property. The building is completely secure and safe, but it is still recommended to lock your door and car at all times during your stay.

Other things to note
The house comes equipped with heaters, adequate blankets, air-conditioning, and fans. There is a large fridge and more than adequate cooking facilities. We recommend going to Fremantle Markets on Market Street and collecting some fresh fruit and vegetables to take home and prepare dinner.

Please note: there are lots of stairs and no lift! If you are someone who has troubles with your knees or hips perhaps this is not the place for you. It is great exercise however for the well abled!

We can arrange early luggage drop-off or late collection if needed – just let us know.

Why Studio 13? You could stay in a generic hotel, but why would you? This is your chance to live like a local in one of Australia's most characterful neighbourhoods, with all the comfort and convenience you need for a perfect stay.

Neighbourhood highlights

This apartment is in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Fremantle's many restaurants and cafes.

Within the same block are Strange Company and Bread in Common, both one of the best local restaurants and bars. Both places are fabulous places for a pre-dinner drink, or wine and dine.

Further afield (two blocks away) is Sailing for Oranges (Market Street) and Emily Taylor (Fremantle Markets) . Both restaurants which which my partner Conrad creates the menu for, so highly recommended!

As far as bars go, there are many. Strange Company is probably the most diverse, with indoor and outdoor seating. A hidden gem Darling Darling on Henry Street (parallel to Pakenham Street) is worth a visit to their nautical themed bar. Further down Pakenham Street The Gin Distillary has both an interesting cocktail menu and simple well executed menu.

If you are after sight seeing, recommended is the fishing boat harbour where there are restaurants and breweries, including the renowned 'Little Creatures'. If you are after a casual fish n chips, see either "Sweet Lips" or "Bather Beach House" down on the harbour side. It makes a spectacular sunset in both establishments.

There are two Maritime Museum's, the newest one being an iconic building of Fremantle, located on Port side, near E-Shed ferries. The Fremantle Prison is another iconic building, where there are tours operating daily.

The Fremantle Markets, only operate Fri-Sun as well as public holiday Mondays. Here you can grab some street food, acai bowl or coffee and listen to buskers.

Most restaurants on the cappacino strip operate 7 days, with late night sittings for late night espressos. A lot of Italian restaurants operate here, and if I was to recommend any it would be La Sosta, which is upstairs and hidden behind Gino's Cafe.

To be honest there is too much to do, so hopefully you have some time to explore many that Fremantle has to offer!
