The space
Caladenia is located in the Adelaide Hills, SA set on a rural 15-acre block that adjoins the Mount George Conservation Park.
Visitors are invited to unwind, open Caladenia's large bifold doors to bring the forest to your doorstep and enjoy the tranquillity of native vegetation and wildlife. Spot kangaroos grazing at dusk, listen to the chatter of kookaburras, or catch a glimpse of a koala nestled in the treetops. Whether you’re relaxing indoors by the fireplace or sipping a glass of wine on the stairs Caladenia offers an unforgettable connection to nature.
A cosy 16sqm stay with incredible eco-friendly amenities, Caladenia has access to fresh rainwater, an indoor fireplace, beautiful kitchenette with Fisher & Paykel gas stove top, soft Bed Threads linen, Hommey bath sheets and a top of the range Cinderella comfort incinerating toilet suite. Whilst there is no air conditioning, the beautiful breeze can be let in by large format bi-fold doors fitted with a retractable insect screen.
Your host, a passionate horticulturalist, has curated a property rich in native and exotic flora, creating the perfect backdrop for relaxation. During your stay, you are welcome to explore the property at your leisure, relax under the wisteria-covered arbour with a picnic, and enjoy fresh, seasonal produce from the kitchen garden. And while this tiny home feels blissfully remote, it’s just a stone’s throw from all the best that the Adelaide Hills region has to offer; world-class wineries, charming villages, and scenic trails—all within easy reach.
While generally very tranquil, guests should note that occasional machinery noise and staff activity may occur as part of the property's operations. If you plan to unwind and relax here, we advise you bring your basic necessities such as food and snacks with you. You will be required to carry your belongings a short 30m walk to Caladenia from the designated carpark.
Please note: this is a fully off-grid experience. There is no WIFI or television to help you immerse yourself within nature.
Guest access
You will receive a smart lock code provided 24 hours prior to check in. It is a self check in any time from 2.00pm at your leisure.
This is an off grid, self contained tiny home for a maximum of 2 guests. Guests will have complete access to the tiny home and its surroundings, except for the land host's private residence and fenced garden (200 meters away from the tiny home).
Guests are welcome to meander throughout the 15-acre property, including organic kitchen garden and botanic garden-like gardens, as well as the adjacent Conservation Park.
There is a dedicated free outdoor car park on site.
When accessing the property Caladenia resides on, we recommend caution as the property is a real, working property so there are general rural property hazards, like uneven grounds, machine and equipment and several greenhouses.
This property isn't suitable for pets.
