The space
THE FARMHOUSE:
A refined blend of French Provincial elegance and English country charm, Little River Valley farmhouse offers a relaxed luxury home in a peaceful rural setting.
Set among rolling hills and green pastures, the farmhouse overlooks 100 acres of farmland, where cattle and sheep graze. It’s a place to slow down, enjoy the views and embrace country life.
RELAX, DINE & UNWIND:
Gather around the table, enjoy morning coffee overlooking the valley or unwind with family and friends in the evening.
The alfresco area features a 10-seater dining table and Weber BBQ and festoon lighting.
Inside, open-plan living areas centre around a well-equipped kitchen, creating an inviting space to cook, dine and relax.
The kitchen includes a six-burner Falcon gas cooker, generous preparation benches, large refrigerator, dishwasher and walk-through butler’s pantry.
SPACE TO FEEL AT HOME:
With two lounge areas, four bedrooms and two bathrooms, the farmhouse comfortably accommodates up to nine guests.
A separate study provides a quiet workspace or retreat and can serve as a fifth bedroom.
There’s room to gather together, as well as quiet spaces to enjoy time alone.
EXPLORE FROM YOUR DOOR:
The farmhouse has direct access to the Denmark–Nornalup Heritage Rail Trail.
Follow the signposted route through the farm to reach one of Denmark’s most scenic walking and cycling trails. The historic Little River Heritage Bridge is approximately 500 metres away.
Enjoy a morning walk, leisurely cycle or relaxed exploration—the beauty of Denmark’s countryside begins at your doorstep. 
PRIVATE DAM AREA: A short walk from the house down the driveway past the sheep paddocks, leads you to one of the property's most special features - an exclusive garden area centred around a picturesque dam and jetty.
Close to the water's edge is a partially enclosed timber pavilion with tables, chairs and a wine barrel bar. This peaceful space is perfect for enjoying morning tea, a picnic by the water watching the local birdlife or evening drinks and grazing platter around the firepit under the stars. Festoon lighting adds to the serene evening ambience.
The surrounding gardens have been professionally landscaped to create a truly tranquil setting. The stunning backdrop provides an exquisite place for photos and has been used for several private weddings (contact host for more information)
During the winter months a seasonal waterfall cascades past the area adding to the magic and serenity of this unique space.
Guest access
HOUSE & GARDENS: Our guests enjoy full private access to the entire Farmhouse, alfresco area and surrounding gardens allowing plenty of space to relax and enjoy the country lifestyle.
PRIVATE DAM AREA: A short walk from the house down the driveway past the sheep paddocks, leads you to one of the property's most special features - an exclusive garden area centred around a picturesque dam and jetty. This area is also available for guests to use during their stay.
COTTAGE & FARM SHEDS :
The separate caretakers cottage and farm sheds are PRIVATE PROPERTY and these areas are not included in guest access. They are well separated from the Farmhouse accomodation and will not impact your privacy, peace or enjoyment during your stay.
We kindly ask that guests mutually respect the privacy by not entering or accessing these areas. Thank you!
DENMARK-NORNALUP HERITAGE RAIL TRAIL: Guests can access the rail trail directly from the rear of the property via a designated gate. See map provided.

Little River Valley is a working cattle farm currently running Angus cows and Dorper sheep. There are also some pet horses and chickens on the property. Please enjoy strolling around the farm and viewing the animals from the driveways.

The first rule to learn on any farm is - if you open it - CLOSE IT! Gates and fences are there for the protection of the animals - and you.
FENCES:
Please be aware that fences are electric.

The separate caretakers cottage and farm sheds are PRIVATE PROPERTY and these areas are not included in guest access. They are well separated from the guest Farmhouse accomodation and will not impact your privacy, peace or enjoyment during your stay.
