Fantastic place with lots of nice little touches to make the stay a bit special. Well appointed and laid out with comfortable beds and furnishings. Great location to walk into the main street and check out St Arnaud or as a base to travel around the local wineries. Highly recommended.

We stayed for one night during September. Jocelyn was easy to communicate with and easy going with our schedule. We were just passing through this time on our way to visit family friends further on. It's a shame we didn't get to stay longer to explore the beautiful surrounds of St Arnaud and the home. Jocelyn was kind enough to put the heaters on ready for our arrival. The place is spacious, clean and has everything you could need and more. You can definitely tell Jocelyn has thought of everyone and everything. Great value and place in the area, especially if you have a large group. Definitely will stay here again!

We didn't meet Jocelyn but were glad to meet Rohan. Communication was easy. Maison Citron is very pleasant and very well equipped and included a breakfast hamper and other supplies. It was very comfortable for an overnight stay and we would have liked to stay longer!

Comfortable, spacious, clean and welcoming! Jocelyn and Rohan went above and beyond to make my short stay at Maison Citron as easy as possible, paying attention to every detail. I arrived to a warm, lit house with everything I could possibly need, and more - as well as welcoming notes and instructions. Completely unexpected breakfast - even catering for my gluten intolerance - as well as a coffee machine: two things to make my work trip all the more pleasurable! Washing machine, bath, and fantastically equipped kitchen were also bonuses, among others. Jocelyn popped by briefly on the first evening to check everything was ok. Can't recommend this highly enough. Thanks Jocelyn and Rohan!

Little personal touches made Maison Citron feel like a home away from home. We loved our stay! Jocelyn and Rohan provided a beautiful breakfast, had the heaters on ready for our arrival and accommodated our infant daughter. We loved sitting in the lounge by the fire and we had a beautiful meal at the Royal Hotel which was a short walk up the street.

Response from Jocelyn:
Thank you Brooke. Appreciate your very complimentary review. We adore our cottage too!

Rohan and I love running our B & Bs in the Wimmera region of country Victoria. We have two guest apartments in an old Post Office in St Arnaud. It was built in 1866 during the Gold Rush. We also have the delightful timber cottage 'Maison Citron', built in the early 1900s. We enjoy meeting our interesting guests & we work 24/7 to keep our B & Bs running smoothly.
Together, we have extensive work experience in Architecture & Building, Hospitality, & Retail sectors.
Our two adult children currently live in Victoria. One is an artist & one is pursuing a country lifestyle with her husband. Remi Edouard, our black standard poodle puppy lives with us.
We enjoy bush walking and wildflower season is spectacular from August through to Nov. There are stands of Grey Grass Trees(a threatened species recovery project) in our locale close to View Point. Lovely views of distant ranges can be seen from there too. You can also find many old gold mining sites around the area which are easily accessible whilst out walking. Bell Rock is one of these areas. The Wax Gardens are also interesting, and you can view local native flora in a protected environment in the St Arnaud Range Park.
We have travelled and used Airbnb extensively, both overseas and in Australia. We hope we offer you the same experience we have had.
We look forward to meeting you and having you stay here in St Arnaud.
Best wishes, Rohan and Jocelyn
