Rohan and I love running our B & Bs in the Wimmera region of country Victoria. We have two guest apartments in an old Post Office in St Arnaud. It was built in 1866 during the Gold Rush. We also have the delightful timber cottage 'Maison Citron', built in the early 1900s. We enjoy meeting our interesting guests & we work 24/7 to keep our B & Bs running smoothly.
Together, we have extensive experience in the Architecture & Building, Hospitality & Retail environments.
We have two adult children in Melbourne. One is busy at TAFE & one works in the building maintenance industry. We also have a new addition, Remi, our black standard poodle.
We like walking in the bush and wildflower season is spectacular from August through to Nov. There are stands of Grey Grass Trees(a threatened species recovery project) in our locale close to View Point. You can also find many old gold mining sites around the area which are easily accessible whilst out walking, plus the Wax Gardens to view local native flora in a protected environment in the St Arnaud Range Park.
We have used Airbnb extensively, both overseas and in Australia. We hope to travel more in the future and plan to stay in Airbnb apartments as our experiences have always been fantastic. Places we have stayed in booked through Airbnb have included Iceland, France, & Adelaide South Australia.
We look forward to meeting you and having you stay here in St Arnaud.
