The property has been in our family for 100 years and we know you will appreciate it as much as we do. Surrounded by trees, the sound of the waves hitting the beach from the open windows, only minutes from town and set back in a private drive just off of a main highway make it the perfect retreat.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire house and property. Relax on the beach. Soak in the jacuzzi tub. Watch the sunrise from the second story lake room. Catch the game on the 60" smart TV in the great room. Curl up with a good book in front of the fireplace. This house is the retreat you have been looking for.

Other things to note
There are 4 cottages surrounding the Lake House. Your location is private, but there may be another guest or two at the beach with you.

BEACHES:

There are two beaches on the property. A small one to the right of the Lake House that you need to take a staircase to get to. The larger one on the left is accessible by a grassy hill that you need to walk down.

The water levels of the lake vary summer to summer, and even day to day. Sometimes there is a large sandy beach area, sometimes there is a small beach area.

We are 20 minutes from Bayfield and the Apostle Islands and 5 minutes from Ashland and Washburn where there are restaurants and larger grocery stores.

Please note that this rental is located at Mission Springs Resort in Ashland, Wisconsin. It is a 3.5 acre property with two one bedroom cottages, 3 two bedroom cottages, and one 4 bedroom house— all nicely spaced out from one another. The property has two private beaches on-site. Each rental has it’s own private outdoor sitting area with a picnic table, fire pit (firewood provided) and charcoal grill. You will be able to see the other cottages from yours and you will be sharing the beaches with the other guests, but you will not be sharing a picnic table, fire pit, or grill with other guests.
