The cottage was great, very comfortable, with a living area more spacious than we expected. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the Avoca Hotel where we had a wonderful dinner on Saturday night. We stayed during the Avoca Wine Festival and loved the Shiraz Masterclass with six winemakers and would thoroughly recommend coming at this time. Visited various wineries and would recommend all, particularly Blue Pyrenees Estate where we had an entertaining Sparkling wine class with lunch and the beautiful Taltarni. We also become regulars at Jos House for coffee. Thanks Kelvin for your prompt communication and will recommend your place to others.

This is a great 'cottage' in an excellent location. The house has everything you'll need. Catch the morning sun on the front verandah and the afternoon sun on the back deck. It's a short walk into town. I recommend coffee at Jo's House, lunch at the Palette abd dinner at The Avoca Hotel. All fabulous. The supermarket in town is good, there is a news agent and the milk bar is excellent. Lots of excellent wineries to explore. I recommend Equus for views, great wine and great hosts. Also Farmers Gate Estate for great wine, eats, coffee and hosts. The beds are comfy, the kitchen well equipped, there is a selection of CD's and DVD's. Easy to find and check in. Really enjoyed the stay. Thanks!

Great cottage, bigger than we expected. The bathroom was very nice with a large bath, the kitchen was fully equipped and it's very peaceful. Only 15 minute walk into the town, where you'll find a pub, couple of cafes and shops. Ideal if you want to check out local wineries such as Blue Pyrenees and Mount Avoca. After a day in the wineries, this was a perfect place to unwind and get away from city life. Would recommend.

Lovely and quiet cottage which is an easy walk to town. Modern interior, very clean and comfortable. The verandah is the perfect place to sit and relax. Thanks Kelvin, we'll be back.

The cottage was spacious and clean. It had a wonderful view of the bush and farmland from a large back verandah where we saw Swamp Wallabies on two occasions and a range of different birds. The bed was very comfy and everything was easy to manage. Close to town, but more a very short drive (couple of minutes) than a longish walk. Great place to explore the wonderful wineries in the area (Sipping a Chardonnay on Dalwhinnie’s balcony is a must). Pity the Avoca Hotel was closed when we were there (b/w Xmas & NY) as it looks the best place in town to eat. Kelvin very helpful and accessible.
