About this listing
Located in one of Sydney's most vibrant and cosmopolitan suburbs, this compact studio offers privacy, security and magnificent views from every room. Positioned on the top floor of a gated property, the apartment is quiet, light and airy with no common walls. There is a main room (with queen size bed), a separate kitchen and bathroom. A coin operated laundry with washer and dryer is located on the same level. In the heart of Potts Point's dining precinct, the property is three minutes walk to Kings Cross train station and city bus stops. All cafes, restaurants and supermarkets are just minutes away. The sunny northwest aspect has uninterrupted views of the city skyline, Harbour Bridge and Opera House, creating the ultimate Sydney experience.
All bed linen, bath towels, washers and soaps are supplied. Tea, coffee, milk, juice, bread and jams are also available. Unfortunately, there is no WI-Fi available, though there are internet cafes nearby.
Interaction with guests
I always try to meet guests personally at the property for key hand over and a brief introduction. I can also assist with luggage if guests are arriving by train or bus.
Victoria Street is a historic tree lined avenue running north to Sydney harbour. It is filled with magnificent architecture from 19th century Victorian terraces to 1930's Art deco hotels and shops. Some of Sydney's finest eateries and cafes are located within minutes from the apartment. Supermarkets, bookstores, hairdressers and internet cafes are also within a three minutes walk.
Kings Cross station is three minute walk and the city bus stop is a block away on Macleay Street. The area around Potts Point is mostly flat and pedestrian friendly and is ideal for walking and exploring. It is an easy 25 minute walk to the CBD via Hyde Park and a scenic 35 minute walk to the Botanical Gardens and Opera House.
Other things to note
The 1960's apartment block is double gated with two intercoms. It is a very safe and secure property.
I just ask guests to be respectful of the property, its contents and neighbours.

My name is Stuart and I have lived most of my life in the vibrant Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. I work in Sydney's CBD and have the pleasure and convenience of being able to walk to my workplace, friends' homes, cafes and restaurants. The studio's small living space is compensated when waking up to the sight of the beautiful harbour, the Opera House and the Bridge or coming home as dusk falls on the city skyline. I really couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Frequent travel takes me away from Sydney and when I can't be at the apartment, I don't want any sunsets going to waste!
