This three bedroom waterfront house is right on the beach! It's in Los Urrutias, a small Spanish village lost in time. Experience old Spain with all of its charm. We're on the Mar Menor, a salt lagoon where the water warms like a bath to 27 degrees in summer.

The space

It's perfect for a family or group that wants a casual, beachside house for a friendly gathering or some laid back relaxing time.

Guest access

The beautiful beach which is a step off the patio.

Interaction with guests

Someone to help is always nearby.

Other things to note

The cocktail of the house is: mojito!

If you are looking for a relax holiday, this home is exactly what you need. A friendly village, a beautiful place, a complete home with everything you can need in it. The beach is just down a few steps, the sea is WARM. And when I say warm, it means real warm! The only detail is that the sea had seaweeds and jellyfishes this year. But it did not erase any of the charms and magic of this place. It is like plungin in Spanish life and timings, with people getting atcive only after 1o in the evening! if you like fishing, running, biking, exploring, this is a wonderful spot to live a few days in. Next you can find good restaurants (try Ruf-Mari) with very good traditional food at cheap rates, kind neighbors, and wind. The place is very windy but in a pleasant way, it does not allow you to burn in summer and cleans your head erasing worries and bad toughts. I do recommend trying yoga at eary morning on the pier... Enjoy!

It was an amazing trip, Joe's house exceeded our expectations! Very friendly hosts, ready for an immediate support! The apartment has everything you need, even more than indicated on the site! Being in this place, feels like a villa on the beach. Unusual feelings during breakfast on the terrace, waking up with first water splendor. One of the best places with children !!! Thank you very much! Hope to visit this place a few more times! ;-) Alexander

Joe had made sure we felt immediately welcome with a small parcel of necessities and one or two goodies (notably cold beer and even a bottle of ready-made Mojito!). The house was exactly as described - a wonderfully large and airy room fronting the sea; a surprisingly capacious terrace (perfect for sundowners) right on the (virtually deserted) beach; and three bedrooms to the rear - wonderfully peaceful. It wasn't just the house and Joe's welcome that made us feel right at home - it was the atmosphere. The obvious love that Joe and his family has for their Los Urrutias oasis and the number of family gatherings that must be enjoyed there, to the max (the sheer number of glasses of all types tells you this!) is palpable when staying there. Los Urrutias itself is a charming, sleepy and very Spanish village - the perfect place to chill. We were there out of season so many of the bakeries, fishmongers and restaurants weren't open - or only at weekends but there's a well-stocked supermarket open all hours, a pharmacy and a very welcoming tapas bar. Its proximity to Murcia San Javier airport (20 mins) and such a variety of different towns, villages, beaches, sports clubs and resorts, make it a perfect holiday location - for all tastes. On a practical point - the house has excellent wi-fi, a really well equipped kitchen, and a 'utility room' stocked with everything you might need. All in all my family and I had a wonderful, relaxing and happy holiday. We returned home feeling quite refreshed - and longing to return! Thank you Joe.

Recomendable 100%.
