**N.B Easter and hols min booking of 4 guests for 5 nights**. An entire quirky converted Baptist Chapel in the Brecon Beacons National Park with a secret musical story and lots of sleeping options. Warm in winter with thick stone walls that are so calming and quiet. This is a simple place to detox from busy lives. Cosy nights in front of the wood burner with friends or family. A place to read, play the piano, listen to music, sing, cook or just do nothing. Cycling, walking, from the door.

Highly recommend Hugh's Chapel as a place for a great holiday for a family. The Chapel is huge with lots of private space for everyone and loads of things to do, including walking (with dog), tours nearby of coal & iron ore mines, castles, churches and convenient for the Hay on W…

Ivan is the perfect host and made sure we even had some basic food ingredients for a late tea when we arrived after dark. He was obviously very busy with family and work commitments the nights we were staying but he still found time for chats and numerous trips up the hill to m…

Even though Ivan was away during our stay, he was in frequent phone contact and did all he could to make our stay a pleasurable one. The chapel has a really interesting history, as does the whole Clydach area, which we enjoyed exploring during our stay.

We first moved to this part of Wales in 2000 when I stumbled on Clydach exploring the lanes on my way back from work. I was instantly attracted to the hills, woods and streams as well as the forgotten past of ironworks quarries and tramroads. It was the place I would have loved…
