Melbourne is continually voted the most liveable city in the world and Windsor is the diamond in her crown. From dining, to shopping and nightlife, Windsor, has it all.

The space

Why book just another apartment in a big block and no views, when, for the same price, you can enjoy unsurpassed luxury @ The House of Windsor.

The House of Windsor represents open plan living at its most stylish and luxurious. This brand new townhouse is fitted out to the highest standard of appointments and luxury fittings, ideally suited to extended bookings, including hotel quality, starched and laundered bed linen and luxurious bathrobes.

At about 110 SQ/M the space is about 75% larger than other listings in multi unit developments and about 4 times the size of a standard hotel room, yet well under half the price.

The townhouse features extra high ceilings complete with cutting edge and very evocative mood LED lighting. The oversized open plan living room and kitchen features reclaimed hardwood floors along with custom steel framed doors that can be thrown open onto a awesome front deck with a delightful view of the park across the road.

The master bedroom has a full en-suite with a rain head shower along with its own deck complete with a lush vertical garden. The open plan lounge/dining/kitchen has a very comfortable sofa bed, (pull out, not fold out). NB Access to the bathroom is via the master bedroom - check out the plan of the unit in our photo album.

Additionally there is the most amazing rooftop garden, one of only a handful in Windsor, that will be for your use during the period of your stay. It includes a Weber gas BBQ. The views are some of the best in Windsor.

Off the main bedroom is a study nook with a desk, along with huge, fully fitted wardrobes.

The gourmet kitchen, designed for entertaining, comes complete with an induction cooktop, along with a full oven and pantry. There is also a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher along with a washer and dryer, all of which are full size.

The townhouse features reverse cycle air-conditioning/heating.

Unlike other listings that are often not much bigger than studio apartments in large blocks of hundreds of units, this is completely your own space, in a low rise neighbourhood of local homes, not tourists or student accommodation.

Please note that bedding for one additional guest (3 total) can arranged by prior agreement but this number of guests must be reflected in the booking.

Guest access

You will have access to the entire unit with private entrance as well as shared access to the rooftop deck.

Other things to note

Parking is on the street. It is a quiet dead end street and parking is almost never a problem.

Long term rentals are welcomed.

We live in the downstairs unit and are available on site if required.

We don't like rules ourselves, however this is a multimillion dollar apartment and sadly we have one only one bad incident which involved people using drugs on the property, so we hope you understand our caution. Big 4 house rules: 1/ WE HAVE A STRICT NO PARTY POLICY. 2/ The apartment, front, rear and roof terrace can only be used and enjoyed by no more than the number of people in your booking. 3/ Any additional overnight guests who use the sofa bed in excess of your reservation must be advised and additional payment processed. 4/ No noise, music or otherwise should be able to be heard outside the apartment. Failure to abide by these big four 4 house rules will see your entire bond forfeited, In the event of serious breaches such as parties or ignoring requests to turn down music, smoking or incidents that we notify you need to be rectified, and are ignored, you will be asked to leave, the bond will retained, and no money refunded for unused nights. Soft rules include; to avoid damage, no high heels on the timber floors and please try to avoid letting the front gate swing back against the rubber stopper.

We loved staying here. So relaxing, totally indulgent and super close to a vibrant part of Melbourne that you don't always get to visit. James was so quick to reply to all our communication and provide us with an extensive list of the best things to do while we were here. All the extra touches made us feel at home and very welcomed. Thank you. Totally recommend it. Super place to call home even for a little while.

We live in the downstairs unit and are available, if you wish, to provide a 'concierge' service to welcome you on arrival and provide an orientation to all the best that Melbourne and Windsor has to offer.

But if you'd prefer to be left alone that is completely up to you.
