Other things to note
Most of the time it is silent here. The private airfield nearby is used by prior appointment only. During peak periods in summer occasional flights of small light aircraft may occur with only the noise of a passing motorcycle. The airfield is grass so is generally closed in winter to fixed-wing aircraft. The airfield is not certified for night operation.
