The place is a separate small "home" from where Howard and his family were staying. This offers a great deal and privacy especially for couples. It was easy to find and they provided a little booklet with information on where to find some of the short walks near to their place. The place was also clean and really cosy!

Was an enjoyable stay. There are limited cooking facilities, so don't expect to cook up a gourmet dinner. It was a bit cold in winter. Otherwise a truly stunning location, and great, helpful hosts.

Great, relaxing space and perfect base to explore the St Helens/Bay of Fires region. Wonderful sunrise/set viewing too!

Probably one of the cleanest airB&Bs we have stayed at in our entire Australia trip (about 11 so far). Howard was helpful and quick to respond, and the place has everything you need while traveling. They even left us jam and biscuits - 5/5 would def stay again. Thanks Howard!

Janet and Howards place is perfect for a couple. Spotless abs modern. Had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed and lounge. Thoughtful extras like baked slice and biscuits, proper ground coffee and a lovely choice of teas. We would recommend this AirBnb 100% and will stay again if we are lucky enough to holiday in Tassie again.

Howard's apartment is very comfortable and well appointed with everything a traveller needs. We appreciated the welcoming biscuits and slices and the fruit and breakfast supplies. Howard assisted us with travel tips on the surrounding areas and we found Akaroa to be a good location for visiting Anson's Bay, Binalong Bay, The Gardens and Mt William National Park. We highly recommend this quiet apartment with excellent Bay views, adjoining the lovely town of St Helens to all discerning travellers.

I am a retired teacher, mad fisherman and gardener sharing my life with my partner Janet. We live in a beautiful part of Tasmania and would never wish to live anywhere else and we are keen to share this with our guests.
