we offer a comfortable and spacious double room .This is at the top of the house . If guests are unable to cope with two flights of stairs,we have a smaller double room on the middle floor,as opposed to the top of the house.
Although we don t normally do a full english breakfast, we provide a substantial breakfast,of homemade muesli ,plus eggs if wanted and toast etc. Fresh coffee and homemade bread, usually in the garden .

The space
Hailsham is within 5 miles of many attractions, including the beautiful grounds of Hersmonceux castle, Knockhatch adventure park, Hersmonceux science centre,Abbots Wood, many footpaths and only 10 minutes by car to the beautiful South Downs, Eastbourne beaches, and Lewes with its Castle and interesting antique shops.
The historic town of Battle and its Abbey, is also quite close

Hailsham is a bustling little market town,on the edge of the Pevensy marshes ,an SSI area
There are several independent little shops, including a newish and wonderful no waste shop that offers all types of scrumptious food, to be weighed and dispensed without using plastic. There are also plenty of fast food outlets who make up for the shop thats not using the plastic! Also lots of charity shops to browse in and find that bargain.

We have one double room,spacious and comfortable...use of the large lounge,breakfast served in the garden weather permitting
We can offer an extra single room for any children,this would be an extra cost of £30

During your stay
We enjoy meeting people, and are always around to help when needed.

Other things to note
Our garden backs on to the popular Cuckoo trail,which is very handy if you re on the London to Paris route. We are cyclists in some measure,and have secure places for bikes.
