Sit on the back verandah, listen to the bellbirds and watch the horses gallop across the incredible vista below. The cottage has a rustic, country feel with the original part being over 100 years old.
Very close to local wedding venues and within cooee of the Blue Mtns Botanic Garden, cider sheds, National Park, apple picking, cafes and so much more!
Kids play equipment and plenty of toys/books/DVDs.
We are on the property but you will have complete privacy.

The space
The cottage was originally the village shop, but has been extended and refurbished since then. It is a classic simple country style house, with a large verandah on two sides. The interior is furnished to create a cosy country feel. The slow combustion fire is very effective in keeping you warm in winter, and there is air conditioning for hot summer days.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the cottage and the grassy backyard.
We are next door but the space is set up to offer optimum privacy.

Other things to note
There are no local supermarkets, the closest one being Kurrajong Heights IGA Xpress on the Bells Line of Road. This is a 20 min drive. I would advise you to stock up on items you want on your way up, either in Richmond or North Richmond. For essentials there is a service station in Bilpin that sells a few things.

-Local fruit picking! There are plenty of local orchards that offer apple picking, as well as other fruits. It is worth calling the orchards first or checking Facebook to see what is in season.

-In Autumn you are a short drive to the beautiful Mt Wilson and Mt Irvine where you can pick chestnuts and walnuts. Again best to call ahead to make sure there are things to pick. Absolutely stunning, especially in Autumn.

-Bush Walking! We are surrounded by the Blue Mountains National Park.

- Mt Wilson. A 27 min drive, this quaint little village is a must-see! The drive to get there is just breath-taking and the village itself is like something out of a fairytale. Plenty of gardens to see, a museum, and gorgeous parklands amongst other things.

We fell into Air BnBing our home as the previous owner had some bookings that we decided to honour. We enjoyed hosting new people and sharing this gorgeous location so decided to continue with it. My partner Gavin and I have a toddler who loves rides on the quad bike and exploring the property. We run a video production company called Venture Films.
