Located six blocks from downtown Davis and ten blocks from the UCD campus.
The sunny trailer is all yours. It sleeps 3 comfortably, and accommodates 4-5 for the small, intimate, or adventurous. There is an slightly more narrow double bed, and an extra long twin bed that also serves as a couch/daybed (both with memory foam mattresses).
The stove and sink work and coffee and tea are provided, along with dishes and pans. You are welcome to store food in our fridge, and use your (semi) private entrance to our bathroom and shower in the main house. Wifi available. There is electricity, AC, and a space heater.
We also now have a hot tub! It is shared, yet feels secluded, under a tree near the trailer.
Enjoy our large yard with plenty of spaces to hang out: a redwood picnic table and hammock, and your own teak lounger, and breakfast nook just outside the trailer. A fire pit is set up for you, all ready to burn or use for BBQ, near the trailer entrance. Enjoy the garden and chickens!
Interaction with guests
Make yourself at home here. The trailer provides privacy and personal outdoor space for alone time as well as community space for sharing a beer or meal, or making music around the fire pit.
Other things to note
This is a kid-friendly environment (we have a toddler and an eight year old).
We are a spider-friendly household (we clean cobwebs, but let the daddy-long-legs be), so you might find a few in the bathroom or trailer. Spring and summer months bring mayflies/mosquito eaters. There are no poisonous inspects other than black widows, and they are rarely found in living spaces (we've never found one in the bathroom or trailer).
Davis living involves cohabitation with roaches. In warm weather months expect to see one or two in our bathroom at night (none have ever been spotted in the trailer). These are harmless (not the germ spreading German Roaches), but they can be creepy nonetheless.
Please no loud noise after 10pm. Talking around the campfire is fine if you keep it down.
We generally don't allow dogs but can make exceptions for smallish and well behaved ones :)
