Shack life starts as soon as you walk through the door! Relaxing at the shack is easy, simple and fun. Fishing, beaching, 4WDing, golfing, eating, drinking, star gazing, enjoying the local flora and fauna or lying in the hammock enjoying the ocean view are some of the things we enjoy and call Shack life.

Preston Beach is less than 1.5 hours away from Perth CBD and is perfect for families, couples or mates for a weekend or a week or more!

The space
The entire Shack is yours so make yourself at home!
The Shack is a three bedroom house with an 180 degree ocean view from the verandah to watch the glorious sunsets each evening or gaze at the myriad of stars!
The primary bedroom "The Big Surf" features a king bed, bedside cabinets, WIR, tall boy and ensuite. Sliding doors open out to the balcony to enjoy your morning coffee or lie in bed enjoying the view. Surfing artwork on the walls.
The second bedroom "The Big Wave" includes a king bed, bedside cabinets, hanging wardrobe and trunk. Sliding doors open out to the balcony to enjoy your morning coffee or lie in bed enjoying the view. Various artwork on the walls.
The third bedroom features a trio bunk bed (single on top and double on bottom), BIR, bookshelf.

The lounge room includes a large TV with entertainment unit including a DVD player, DVD,s, couch, armchair, stools, bookshelf with books, games, toys and crafts. There is also a desk area for anyone needing to WFBH (Work From Beach House)!

The dining table seats eight people with two bench seats and two single chairs.

The kitchen has a four hot plate cooker, oven, fridge/freezer with ice maker, WIP (Walk In Pantry). The Shack comes with a number of appliances including a pizza oven, electric grater, stick mixer, rice cooker, mixmaster to keep any cook or chef happy.

There's a laundry complete with washing machine and bar fridge to store extra drinks or fishing bait. The Ziggy BBQ is stored in the laundry for easy access to the verandah.

The ocean view balcony has a couple of lazy boys, outdoor dining table for six people and a couple of hammocks.

The (Darling) Scarp view has three seated areas with plenty of cushions! There are two mini golf holes to make up your own game and challenge your mates!

Guest access
Access to the front door is via the path starting at the top of the driveway and along the side of the house.

Other things to note
Linen and cleaning is included.

Linen includes bedding - sheets, doona, blankets, pillows, pillow cases; bathroom - bath mat, hand towel, bath towel one per person; kitchen - hand towel, tea towel.

Cleaning - vacuum, mop, broom, dust pan are located behind pantry door. Chux wipe, bench cloth, dish detergent, bin liner, paper towel provided in kitchen.

Please respect the locals and town and keep noise to a minimum.

No smoking inside the house and any butts to be placed in the rubbish.

No pets.

Native birds often visit such as the western ringed parrot, kookaburra, magpie and galah. It is illegal in Western Australia to feed native birds as it may cause health issues, behavioural changes or other environmental issues.
