Set back from, but an easy 2 minute walk to, the main street of the historic Germanic town of Hahndorf you will find Billys Cottage. Steeped in history this charming restored cottage speaks of the beauty of yesteryear but with all the modern conveniences of easy living. Sleeping up to 7 guests in 3 rooms, luxurious linen and towels plus a sumptuous breakfast of local produce is provided.
Built in the 1840s and lived in by several generations of the same family until the 1970s Billy's Cottage has since been sympathetically renovated and beautifully looked after. The open plan kitchen and dining area flows to three bedrooms all elevated just above and up a flight of three steps. With a wood burner combustion heater in the living room and gas heater in the dining area, staying warm is never a problem and in the hot summers, the cool slate tiled floor and thick stone walls keeps the whole home at comfortable temperature.
Offering a modern, convenient and unique approach to days gone by living, it will get harder and harder to leave Billy's Cottage as you fall in love time after time.
Guests are welcome to access all areas of the house and garden except the fourth bedroom.
