Heart of bustling Fitzroy - cosy 1 bedroom apartment. Amazing location will allow you to explore the city with ease. 2 minute walk to tram stop. Hipsterville central! Bars, clubs and restaurants are literally on your doorstep.

Enquire about parking - it's tricky in the area. Probably best for those on foot.

The space

The location really makes this place unique. You are literally 100 meters from hundreds of cafes, bars, restaurants, art, retro and vintage wares! A little noisy on weekends, but most guests report that shutting the window takes care of most of the noise.

Guest access

Guests will be situated in their own detached 1 bedroom unit with kitchen and laundry facilities downstairs which are shared with the owners. Access is through the garage in the rear laneway - very Melbourne, but you need to be OK with entrance via a back lane rather than main street.

Interaction with guests

Apartment is separate from the main residence so we may see you or not!

Other things to note

If you enjoy everything hipster and artistic you'll absolutely love this part of town. Think bearded men, craft beers, chef hat restaurants, art galleries, reused and recycled furniture, antiques and coffee to your heart's content.

Great little studio very close to humming Fitzroy. Small space but large enough for two. Has everything needed for a short stay. Check in was smooth. Wifi works beautifully

The apartment was in the perfect location if you like cafes, food and nightlife. Only a few minutes walk from the museum and the city is within walking distance as well! Right on the 86 tram line which goes directly to the sky bus depot and through the CBD. Big, bright bathroom and two heaters that kept the place perfectly cozy.

Unfortunately we missed our flight and didn't make it. But kc's communication and understandinf through it was fantastic. If we come to Melbourne again we will definitely try to stay here :).

The flat was exactly as advertised. We found it to be clean, tidy and located very centrally in Fitzroy, although surprisingly quiet at night. Kc was also very prompt with communication & pleasant to deal with. We were mainly left to our own devices and did not have communication with the owners, but we were quite happy with this situation. All round a great stay.

We had a really good stay - dealing with Kc was straightforward and easy. Rowan was great to deal with too. We had one of our bags lost in transit and the drop off time was anywhere between 6pm - 10pm, Rowan was very kind and delivered it to us when it finally turned up after 1030pm. The location was fabulous for all things Fitzroy, and trams a minute walk away made getting anywhere simple. The apartment is exactly as advertised - small yes, but has everything you need. Into the garage, up the spiral staircase and you're in a warm space with everything you need. We stayed 7 nights - if you are new to Melbourne, like we were, this is a great location - great cafes, organic supermarket, yoga studio all within minutes. Fabulous bars and great food within walking distance on Brunswick street, as well as vintage clothing and bargain shopping. The alleyway entrance has some great street art and though little noisy on Friday/Saturday night, if you close the bedroom blind and shut the bathroom door as Kc suggests on the note left on the window it is fine. Definitely recommend if you want to explore and experience Melbourne.
