This 3 bedroom nomadic inspired log cabin is nestled in the heart of Smiths Lake, NSW. The log cabin backs onto a national park for the ultimate privacy. Just a short drive to some of Australia's most idyllic beaches. A short walk to picturesque Smiths Lake.

The cabin features a newly renovated bathroom, kitchen and laundry. Think beach shack meets bush cabin! The ultimate hideaway. Please stay with us if you love nature & the good life.

The space

Come & relax in this nomadic-inspired log cabin in the bush.

This 3-bedroom cabin is surrounded by a tropical rainforest for the ultimate in holiday privacy. A short drive to some of Australia's most beautiful beaches. A short walk to the lake. Seal Rocks just 15 minutes drive away.

Fully furnished & newly renovated with w/machine, dryer, TV, gas BBQ, toilet, log fire, coffee machine, reverse cycle air-conditioner/heater & wifi. Linen included. Outdoor dining & fire-pit. Ample parking.

The house has two queen sized bedrooms with built-ins & the third bedroom has a bunk bed [weight appropriate for adults]. All rooms come with fresh linen & towels.

Short stroll to Smiths Lake & the new playground at the lake. Close to local shops & bowling club. 8 minutes drive to Boomerang Beach & Blueys Beach.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU GET HERE

If you've been to the area before, you'll know that it boasts some of the best surf in Australia.

If you haven't, well you'll never want to leave.

Beaches are within a 5 - 10 minute drive which include Cellito, Boomerang, Blueys and Elizabeth (patrolled, and good for kids). Local lakes are ideal for swimming with young children, with shallow clear water.

Seal Rocks is 20 minutes drive away - head up to the lighthouse for great views, and whale watching (in season). Or surf at Treachery and Lighthouse beach. Forster is approximately 20 minutes drive, which has the usual supermarkets and various retailers.

Smiths Lake village has a butcher, baker, village shop and the Lakes Cafe, which does a great coffee. The village shop is great for renting DVD's.

There is aslo a short 9-hole golf course nearby, as well as 18 hole courses at Forster. There's a local winery, tennis courts at Pacific Palms and ample bush walks. Kayaks and small boats can also be hired from the Frothy Coffee Cafe 200 metres down the road.

For dinner or drinks head to 'The Reccie' or ‘The Bowlo’ or fire up the barbie in the backyard.

If you love surf, sun and solace, you'll love Smiths Lake.

There is also a few kitchen/bathroom basics to get you started. We offer firewood & gas in the BBQ for outdoor bbq's. Spare firewood available near garage.

WIFI is available, but keep in mind internet providers aren't great during peak holiday season in the area.
