EcoValley Retreat welcomes dogs, along with their human parents, to share our little piece of paradise. Two of our favourite things are Esperance and dogs so it was important to us that our holiday accommodation fitted around this. We love to tell our guests about places and experiences within Esperance that they might not always get from a tourism brochure.

The space
There are just two self-contained, studio style units on the property with a large balcony overlooking the lake. The owners live upstairs. Each unit has a queen bed and is suitable for 1-2 adults (sorry, NO CHILDREN).
Because it’s a doggy holiday too, your well-behaved dogs are welcome off-leash on the property. Please note: Whilst the property is fenced and there are gates at the entry and exit, this may still not deter the most determined pooch! All the good doggy things – smells, lake, etc – are well away from the entrances and we’ve never had any issues. We have secure kennels if you wish to leave them if you are visiting the National Park. They can't be left inside alone though, sorry.
We are also EcoValley Honey and love to give our guests a sample of our delicious raw, gourmet honey. If the chooks are being good girls, you’ll also get some fresh eggs. And… we encourage you to go for a wander and help yourself to whatever happens to be growing in our rambling garden, whilst you’re here.
Naming EcoValley Retreat: We decided some years ago, before the holiday accommodation was even an idea, to name the property. We’ve always felt that the property was a ‘retreat’ from day-to-day worries and the outside world so that part of the name was easy. We’re fairly eco-conscious. We are off-grid, use ecofriendly cleaning sprays and no nasties on our garden as we love our bees. Don’t worry, we have the mod-cons – you won’t be warming your hands or cooking your dinner over a campfire, although that’s fun too! And… we live on Valley Road so that just seemed to fall into place.
Thanks for reading our story. We hope to meet you soon! X
Guest access
Each unit has its own access. The shared laundry is at the rear of the units. Feel free to kick back and relax on the large balcony, pack a picnic and head down to the lake or explore the property.
Other things to note
*NO CHILDREN*
Very dog friendly: Dogs are encouraged to be off-leash so we cannot guarantee children's safety with other guests dogs.
Please let us know if you are bringing a dog, as conditions apply. No cats or birds.
