Well-equipped property in Darkan. The back rooms provide self-catering accommodation for those who may be visiting Darkan for work, or travellers just passing through.

This place has three bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own lock. Room 1 has a queen-sized bed, Room 2 has a queen-sized bed and Room 3 has a double bed and a single bed. The place can host a maximum of six people.

There is a large well-equipped kitchen and living area, a bathroom, laundry, and second toilet.

The space
The front of the property is my Photography Studio, and there is also a luxurious Studio Apartment which can accommodate up to two people in comfort.

The Back Rooms comprise an entire house with four bedrooms and one bathroom.

Guest access
You will have access to the whole house, except the storage room, which is where we keep supplies for the Airbnb.

Each bedroom is lockable with a key.

Other things to note
LOCAL DINING

The Darkan Hotel has great meals for lunch and dinner, but is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. It is very family friendly, and especially at lunch time it feels more like a cafe than a pub. There are several different dining areas, including a restaurant area, bar area, and al fresco.

The Darkan Roadhouse is open daily, and does take-away or dine-in meals and snacks. Traditional roadhouse fare is available, as well as Indian dishes and curries.

The Great Awakening Cafe in Burrowes Street opens from 6:30am on Tuesday – Saturday, and from 8:00am on Sundays. They serve morning and afternoon teas and lunches, including a small selection of gluten-free options. The cafe is closed on Mondays.

There is a grocery store (Fleay's Store) in Darkan but it has limited supplies, and only gets fresh deliveries once a week.

Our kitchen is fully equipped, so if you prefer to self-cater you are welcome to bring your own supplies and cook up a storm. (If you’re using strong spices please open the kitchen window and don’t forget to use the exhaust fan.)
