Neighbourhood highlights

Dederang is a unique rural community. We have a recreation reserve (entrance is only 900m away from the Farmhouse) where there is a playground and we have seasonal sporting activities such as lawn bowls, football, netball, cricket, golf, tennis and a thoroughbred race track (the only race track in the Alpine Shire). The Dederang Picnic Race Club holds a six race meeting each year, its a great day out for families as well as race goers, raising much needed funds for our community.
