Highland Ten celebrates its surroundings, bringing the outside in, designed to immerse and restore guests in nature.

Honest, natural materials and an earthy colour palette reflect the tonal landscape, creating a deeply restorative experience. A restrained design approach, with built in elements and pieces crafted from recycled timbers, sourced locally.

Native encounters…

The property and its surrounds is enjoyed by cows, kangaroos, wombats, horses and a bird show at dusk with often hundreds of cockatoo’s swirling the sky.

King suites with panoramic picture windows, breakfast nook lounging and direct access to bathrooms and outdoors, offering space and privacy when desired. Get cosy with high quality Cultiver bedding, soft wool throws and linen curtains. Organic inspired bathrooms with walk-in monsoon showers, heated floors, luxury organic bath products by Grampian's Goods & Co. and bath robes evoking a boutique hotel experience.

Guest access
The property is set on 10 acres of beautiful grazing land. Guests will have private access to the entire property. At times there will be cattle or horses grazing the lower paddock, fenced from the house and its surrounding area.

Other things to note
For basic supplies (milk, bread, butter, wine, beer etc), the Merrijig Motor Inn is 5 minutes' drive down the road. They also offer pub style lunch and dinner meals and also have great wood fired pizzas on a Friday night! Ski and ski gear hire is also available here during the winter ski season.

The famous Hunt Club Pub is also 5 minutes away where you can enjoy a meal and the full country pub experience.

Mansfield is only a 15 minute drive and offers some fantastic pubs, cafes and restaurants. They also have a well stocked IGA, Foodworks, newsagency, pharmacy and boutique shops. A hospital is also located in Mansfield.

Our love for nature, design, adventure and travel, bundled into Highland Ten, a special place to be shared. As a family of 5, living and travelling abroad, we gained a greater appreciation of our home country, Australia. Through visits to the High Country, we fell in love with its beauty, history and adventurous offerings. Whilst our busy Melbourne lifestyle is dynamic and convenient, we wanted to create a space to gather, unwind and connect.
